This might be more a question for first time pregnancies, since if you're already a mom, you know what you're in for, lol. Just had a super silly freak out moment and thought I'd see if I'm the only one.
Here's mine. Yesterday, I ate lunch, but wanted something else, so I grabbed a watermelon out of the fridge that hadn't been cut yet. I held it in front of me and realized it fit perfectly on my belly, and it felt SOOO heavy! I started to freak out inside and asked DH, "how much does a watermelon weigh?" It was not a huge watermelon, kind of medium sized, and realizing that I'd probably gain more weight than that and get bigger than that watermelon was a super freaky thought. Haha! I'm not so much worried about losing the weight or anything like that, just like how am I going to stand up without toppling over? I'm a tiny person, lol.
Re: Anyone had any mini freak outs yet?
I think it is normal to have the reality of everything kind of hit you sometimes. The impact on my life was bigger after having my first but I actually found I was a bit more nervous in my second pregnancy because things were different, different symptoms and the weight went on a bit differently. Everything was being compared to my first and if it was different I would worry a bit. Also, I had to think about the impact on my oldest.
Honestly, every pregnancy and baby can be so different. After my daughter was born she really let me know that. She was more work than both of her brothers combined.
We have a plan and all, but it's still making me sweat if we can pull it off!
I mean, when I get home from work now, it's always a little rush to get dinner ready, give him a bath, and try to spend some time with him before bed. It makes me nervous to anticipate the changes but I know we'll adjust with some time.

Also, I'd like to buy all the cute things for the squish.
Thankfully they really squish in there :P
Edit- spelling issues
@lemieuxk I'm with you on the googling, hopefully nobody gets access to our browser histories, mine's super embarrasing too!
@yogadevil that cat image is both hilarious and disturbing, lol!
@kswiger06 omg I'm normally clumsy so I'm sure I'm going to be bumping into everything!

@Xstatic3333 and @WinchesterGirl I think about finances all the time. Daycare and preschool are so expensive and we have one in each- not to mention all the activities (swimming, soccer, gymnastics, etc) they're both in. We will be fine, but I like to see that cushion
Lol, I can picture both of you in your situations with the belly in the way. I'm really looking forward to a big belly, I'm excited for all the challenges though I'm sure I won't be as excited in the moment haha... one of my favorite things I did was that when I started labor with my daughter I wanted to repaint my toe nails. I knew from my first pregnancy how close people were going to be to my feet and I wanted them to look good lol like that's what they were going to focus on. So when I felt first contractions I got my Polish ready and realized I couldn't reach my toes if I had to!! Luckily my daughter is 7 now and loves painting my nails, I can get her to help out. It may be sloppy but it will be done
Other freak out - mat leave duration in the US versus Canada... I keep repeating that this job is worth it - and DH likely won't have a job yet so I'll take the 12 weeks and then he'll be home with the baby.
