Should I be concerned?

I had an elective ultrasound and I am concernced about the black areas outside of the placenta. Is that bleeding?

  • Did they ask for your OB's information at the scan? If they saw anything, they would call your OB. (at least at the places I have gone)

  • They didnt mention being concerned, but I had bleeding before with a pregnancy I lost last year. That's why I was concerned. I have an app with OB next week already.
  • If it was elective, they are not allowed to mention ANYTHING. If you're concerned, call your doctor.
