Should I be concerned?

I had an elective ultrasound and I am concernced about the black areas outside of the placenta. Is that bleeding?

    Did they ask for your OB's information at the scan? If they saw anything, they would call your OB. (at least at the places I have gone)

    They didnt mention being concerned, but I had bleeding before with a pregnancy I lost last year. That's why I was concerned. I have an app with OB next week already.

    If it was elective, they are not allowed to mention ANYTHING. If you're concerned, call your doctor.
