WAYDTGKU: Temping/CM/CP/PNV (still giggling at that one) OPKs
R/R/CS: Still frustrated with my house situation that started yesterday. They never started work on my kitchen because of cabinet doors that had to be remade, so that's good because I can do my baking today without it being a shitshow. But they have to come back and finish that next week. I also had the AC company out and they found a leak and it's in the damn wall so now the wall is cut open. Bonus to that is they have to come back Monday because they didn't have what they needed to put in new pipes and weld everything. Yay! *groan* And also the roof guy came and found the issue but requires something special order so he'll be back eventually too.
Upside!!!! Finally a high reading on the OPK today so this shop is in business!
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? I have so, so many. I don't know why I picked such a hard question! I think it has to be a Christmas where I was probably 3. My dad set up video cameras to "catch Santa". I baked cookies and left them with some carrots at our fireplace. My dad dressed up as a very convincing Santa and stuffed himself in the fireplace (it was very big, but so was he lol), so I saw Santa coming in with his giant bag of stuff, setting up all the stockings and presents, reading my letter and eating the cookies. It was just really neat. I don't know where the hell he got deer from, but he also fed my carrots to deer outside (they weren't reindeer, but I was a kid and didn't know- ha!).
I got to watch th videos after we had our Christmas morning and I have probably watched that old VHS about 150 times.
@mrsdee15 @Marley629 So glad to hear both of your HSGs went well and without too much discomfort! Phew! That must feel like a relief to have that overwith and FX for all good test results!! :D <b>

GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? This is an impossible question. I had a great childhood, so there are endless good memories. I guess my favorite memories are just playing in the woods with my sister. My sister and I were homeschooled together, so we were very close. We had other friends that we played with a lot. But, there were still many, many days where it was just the two of us playing. We lived in the middle of the woods and were always out playing incredible make believe stories. I had a pretty good childhood. Not sure I can pick just one. A few that come to mind... Playing with all the neighborhood kids in elementary school. Woohoo! For the first time in over a week, I've managed to check in at a decent time of day! These last few weeks of school are huge time sucks.
Cycle: 1/1
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: temping, brown chicken brown cow
R/R/CS: Temps have been a hot mess this cycle. DH's work schedule has been off for training so I'm waking up at different times resulting in open circles all over the place. No OPKs this cycle so I'm relying on temps and CM to identify O. Looks like we'll have to keep at it (no complaints here)!
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? I Ioved the road trips we took! My brother was on a traveling baseball team so we went all over the United States in our big blue Buick LeSabre. I loved reading a big book in the backseat then running all over a ballpark with the other baseball sisters. So much fun!
R/R/CS: I got a high reading on my CB advanced digital this morning.. I only took it once before, yesterday when it read low so I am not sure it had enough to compare to? Either way I'm doing a regular opk this afternoon and then jumping h when he comes home from work. I'm getting my hair done today so that's awesome too!
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? probably the Christmas morning my parents finally got us a kitten! My brother and I were up early obviously and trying to be quiet because we weren't supposed to be up yet but we heard him meowing so we had to run downstairs. We were so excited!
CD: 6. Thought my period was over yesterday, but *surprise* it is still here. Even DH commented that this feels like the longest period ever...
WAYDTGKU: Still waiting.. The whole no coffee thing didn't work, as I am sitting here drinking a large cup. OPKs should arrive Monday, so I will jump back to temping and all the things after the weekend.
R/R/CS: Well, I accidentally woke up an hour earlier than I needed to today, so that was fun. On the plus side, it is going to be such a beautiful weekend here, I am going to spend as much time as possible outside. I am really trying to get excited about TTC this cycle, but I'm just not. Yesterday one of my friends told me "I just need to stop thinking about it and have lots of sex". My response " Oh damn, I forgot I needed to have sex to have a baby!"
GTKY: Right now, I would say all the summers that we spent at our families cabin. So many good times.
@krys Geez! That is a whole lotta house things going on at one time! At least you get the weekend to finish up your baking. And yay for +OPK. Get it girl! @BusinessWife After reading your WAYD... I feel like I am really not doing enough over here! haha @mrsstuessy I love me a good farmers market! Enjoy your first weekend in your new home/city. @linzrunz Mmmm, pie! You can always get in a good run later. haha @belocin FX your temps start to look better. I always hate seeing an open circle on my chart. It just sits there all open and glares at me. GL with your timing! @SandwichLover I'm getting my hair done today too and am a little too excited! Have fun.
@PepperAT my OPKs will be here Tuesday!! Sorry AF is still sticking around and for the insensitive comment by your friend. :-( Hang in there!! We've got the squad going this month!!

R/R/CS: last night I got my flashing smile on CBAD. Still flashing this morning. Hopefully I'll get a solid by tomorrow. If I O tomorrow or Monday my timing should be pretty good.
In other news. I'm still sick, DS is still sick, DH worked late last night and had to work this morning and then we have to go get my in laws and surprise! They are staying with us. The house is a disaster! I am so not ready for all this.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory?
theres a bunch but probably one of my favorites was during the summer we would go visit my grandparents and my cousins would come too and we'd all just hang out together. My grandpa had a boat and would take us fishing and we'd hell my grandma cook and my cousins and I would play together. It was just a lot of fun. Makes me sad my grandpa was nt alive to meet my DH or my son.
R/R/CS: My husband is working today, which sucks. He gets a lot of overtime at this job, which is helpful.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? Too many to pick a favorite. I loved how, when I was too young for school, my grandma babysat me. When I'd get bored, she'd send me outside with a spoon to dig in the garden. If I got really lucky, she'd let me work on a craft project with her.
@PepperAT DH thinks we are doing TOO MUCH! too much energy spent on that instead of work! lol But truthfully, most of it are just vitamins I take all at once, so it's not like I have to do anything extra there. ;)
@SandwichLover I didn't know that either, but apparently you will get the low reading first no matter what. That happened to me last cycle, went from O to Peak with no blinkie since I started them too late :P
WAYDTGKU: pnv's, vitamin d, baby aspirin, started opks today, can resume BD tomorrow
R/R/CS: thank you everyone for well wishes yesterday! HSG went pretty well though today I have a lot more cramping and I can't take anything for it per doctors orders until tonight. Going wedding dress shopping with my soon to be SIL in a bit so excited about that and it will distract me too!
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory?
I have so so many but one that sticks out is how much my mother loved Christmas and how over board she went every year. It truly made her happy as it was the one time a year she was able to spoil all 8 of us.
@BusinessWife Thank you! It is a huge relief to be done with it.
Cycle: 11/9
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: Just temping.
R/R/CS: Thank you all again for the HSG good juju! I think it went fine and I have no cramping or anything now, so that's nice. I'm also pleased to see my temps evening out.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? Definitely Christmas. I loved everything about it - bright, colorful lights, glitter on everything, traditions with food and movies, and seeing my family. Also, new toys.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
R/R/CS: so the bump ate my post. This is my first time temping and I'm wondering if it's normal to have so many of the same temp. I have like 5 days at 97.45. And my other days tend to be at about the same temp too. I'm worried I got a bad thermometer.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? Probably the father daughter dances I got to go to with my dad. It was so fun as a little girl to get dressed up and with just my dad. I was definitely daddy's little girl.
<span class="vanilla-mention-@">@marriedhamstermom </span>It's possible that thermometers will start favouring temps, but if it's brand new, I'm not so sure, like you said, unless you got a bum one. But truth be told, you don't really want to switch mid-cycle anyway, so I would just wait it out and see how it goes. Your *body* may also just, "favor temps," so I wouldn't necessarily worry about it, since it's obviously giving you different readings different days, too, i.e. not flatlining. If you're still worried about it closer to the end of the cycle, then you might think about replacing it to start the next one. ;)
R/R/CS: Think today is O day after my + opk yesterday. Had my iui this morning and all went well. My DH hadn't gotten to get a SA yet but the nurse who did my iui said his report was "exceptional." My tests have all come back normal and his now are all normal, so it is just a little frustrating not to know what is causing us to have trouble this time.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? So many great memories, it's hard to pick one. I'll go with two of my favorites- Dressing up as wonder woman when I was 3-5 and wrestling with my dad in the living room. I also have tons of wonderful memories playing softball (when my dad was my coach for years) ages 8-14.
R/R/CS: I thought I may have ovulated on CD 24 last cycle and couldn't confirm in until AF came two days ago on CD3 3 because I hadn't been temping or doing opk earlier in the cycle. So we will see if I was right this month. I am kind of sad because we are having a split honeymoon and the second island is now on the Zika watch list. If we are just exposed and not infected, the earliest we can start TTC is October. It's like all I can think about so I am going to just try to put the energy into exercise.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? My parents split when I was 19 when my twin and I were in college, so we all kind of left home pretty young. For that reason, I'd say any memory with all of 4 my sisters under one roof with me was a good memory even though it was hard to keep us all on one task without fighting. We used to watch USA gymnastics and pretend we were gymnasts on the the swings. It was also fun to ride bikes and pretend we were going to the bank (a bush with leaves and berries that were dollars and coins) or the gas station (a stick that filled the bike with gas). My sisters also planted and watered lollipop sticks and the neighbor who worked at a bank replaced them with the real thing and they were convinced they grew! @marriedhamstermom Have you tried taking your temp like 3 times in a row and seeing if it's the same? That will help you determine if there's something wrong. @belocin Only 13 more days for us!!! The kids just do not want to do anything. @linzrunz I loved TGIF...who didn't? @Krys hope next week goes better!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
R/R/CS: It's supposed to be a HOT day, but we are out at the baseball fields to watch our kids on their last game. We are gonna BBQ and just have a good day.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories have to be either playing softball and making those friendships. Or my grandparents used to own a gas station/mini mart. Whenever we would go to visit, they put us to work. Putting sticker prices on goods, stocking shelves, cash register, etc. We could eat and drink whatever we wanted but we had to put in some work first. Their slogan was "No work-y, no eat-y."
R/R/CS: We had our IUI today and all went great with DHs sperm count and the actual procedure. I will probably move to the TWW tomorrow since today should be O day based on the trigger. Y'all have been wonderful and I hope to see you in the TWW with your BFPs soon!!
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? I have lots of memories, but the ones I miss the most are the times with my grandparents. Helping one grandpa cut the grass and fishing with the other. All of my grandparents have been deceased for quite some time, and I miss them.

GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? My parents had a boat when I was growing up, so we used to spend every nice weekend and summer vacations on it. It was amazing taking trips out to the islands, going swimming off the back, or hanging out below decks snuggled up in blankets and watching movies with my sister when it was cooler out.
@linzrunz thanks, girl! Also-I love that you ate pie yesterday instead of going for a run. I think you made a good decision. You can go for a run another day

Hi everyone! I posted an intro in the intro thread but this is my first post in WTO for a long time. I'm a returning reg to the TTGP board, back to TFAS! Cycle: 8
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: Temp, OPK, CM, RRL, Acupuncture
R/R/CS: Pretty peeved about CD1. Yesterday was my birthday and although I'm relieved it didn't come then, I was really hopeful this cycle because we BD so much. Blegh.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory? Playing laser tag with my neighborhood friends
WAYDTGKU: Clomid, BBT for the first month, considering OPKs but I better get on that right?
R/R/CS: MIL is in town so we've been going all over the city looking for a new door for our house. Our house was built in the late 1890s so of course you can't just buy a door...because that would be ridic.
GTKY: probably my favorite is my grandparents' beach house. We had a Hobie catamaran and a ski boat. Big ole fam and I was the oldest of the nieces and nephews. My dad and uncles took me out fishing and stuff all the time. And fresh crabs from the crab trap...yum!

@ahrains It's tru tho. We just replaced the front door (of our rental) and I totally snookered DH into settling on the $400 wood-grain fiberglass because, "people spend THOUSANDS of dollars on front doors. The difference between the cheapest one at 200 or marginally nicer for 300 ... or actually half-way decent-looking for 400 is basically nothing." It worked. Plus he had broken the light in the one that was there so it was totally his fault we had to go door-shopping in the first place! lol But believe me tho, I could geek out on some antique door-shopping... <img title="Image: https://a1.s6img.com/cdn/0012/p/3512573_2482937_lz.jpg" src="https://a1.s6img.com/cdn/0012/p/3512573_2482937_lz.jpg" alt="" height="392" width="379">

@marriedhamstermom I'm no thermometer expert, but if you are getting different readings that aren't even close within a minute or two, then there must be something wrong with your thermometer.

I feel like I am really not doing enough over here! haha
@mrsstuessy I love me a good farmers market! Enjoy your first weekend in your new home/city.
@linzrunz Mmmm, pie! You can always get in a good run later. haha
@belocin FX your temps start to look better. I always hate seeing an open circle on my chart. It just sits there all open and glares at me. GL with your timing!
@SandwichLover I'm getting my hair done today too and am a little too excited! Have fun.

WAYDTGKU: Charting CM and temps
R/R/CS: My husband is working today, which sucks. He gets a lot of overtime at this job, which is helpful.
GTKY: What is your most favorite childhood memory?
Too many to pick a favorite. I loved how, when I was too young for school, my grandma babysat me. When I'd get bored, she'd send me outside with a spoon to dig in the garden. If I got really lucky, she'd let me work on a craft project with her.
@SandwichLover I didn't know that either, but apparently you will get the low reading first no matter what. That happened to me last cycle, went from O to Peak with no blinkie since I started them too late :P

WAYDTGKU: charting temp and CM, vitamins
@linzrunz I loved TGIF...who didn't?
