When did u start showing?

I'm not really a poster but I'm curious. I'm 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I'm back to pre pregnancy weight after losing a bit of muscle I'm guessing... I am a good bit thicker But still no bump. I did start off with abs and some intense fitness training about 5-6 days a week prior to pregnancy. Haven't really been active since I found out I was pregnant tho. Dr isn't concerned but I'm not one for suprises lol. I do feel a bit insecure being just fatter without a bump because I'm known for being a workout freak. I'm predicting my abs won't let lose until much later but when did u guys start showing????

You're probably going to be met with some resistance with this question and have several different answers. Everyone is different. If your doc isn't worried, then you shouldn't either. You can also check out ANY of the HDBD threads and find some answers there.

To answer you question, I haven't really started showing yet. I have a little bump but it's not really noticeable to others yet. If your doctor isn't worried, I wouldn't be either. And I definitely wouldn't have made a whole post about it.

Everyone is different. It depends on your build, body type, if you've had prior children, your growing baby, and probably shit dumb luck. Figure anywhere from 13-20 weeks.

1. No one was is upset about it. It's just funny to us when someone like you strolls in and clogs up the board with an unnecessary post. If you had taken 5 minutes to acquaint yourself with this board, you'd know we discourage sheshul snoflake posts. 

2. We are not your own personal Google machine. You could've easily googled this and found a thousand different answers from a thousand different women on dozens of sites like this one.

3. Name calling is rude. My mom taught me not to do that when I was a small child.

I'm confused as to why you immediately called the people who responded petty and accused them of making a fuss. You had four response, two of which answered your question and two of which were tame. We've all been a part of this board for almost four months, I would assume you would be used to the tone of this board now. 

I'm not one to "make a fuss" over duplicate posts (because yes, this question has been asked before and had been discussed in other threads) but I do roll my eyes at anyone who throws a fit over or tries to police the responses they get in a thread. I would suggest not coming onto an established board that you are admittedly new to contributing to and calling people who frequently provide support drama seekers.

I really don't see the problem with this question besides the fact that one of u guys don't like it and u must defend ur leaders... Wats wrong with having a bump?!

@namp1 I think the best place to find this answer is to scroll through the HDBD thread. You could actually see how people are showing right now. No need to get your panties in a bunch that people are annoyed by your question.

This is a community sweetheart. We give and receive support. We don't own the boards, but we've spent months with each other. You just want an answer to one question... that's been answered before. But why should we even bother if you're not going to take the time to get to know the board or stick around to return the favor to us? You can get as worked up as you want, but it's just going to keep receiving the same type of treatment. 

And, as I said before, you flipped out before anything flip worthy had even happened. In fact, you got helpful responses. You just didn't like that they all weren't equally helpful. This is obviously not the board for you. So you might want to quit wasting your time and go try BabyCenter or whatever it's called.

Telling people they are "no one" and to "get a life"... sure sounds like your panties are in a bunch. 

The purpose of the board is to gain support and build community with gals who are due in the same month as you, not to act as google. HDBD means "Hump Day Bump Day", and you may have known that if you had read one of the first posts says "READ THIS FIRST", which includes a link to the glossary OR ventured beyond you personal special post and interacted in any of the other posts. Had you done either of those, you probably would understand the tone of the board a little more. A lot of us have been here for the past four months getting to know each other. There is a such thing as stranger danger, and so it throws people off when someone who never posts, jumps in without reading the board guidelines. In no way do I mean for any of this to sound mean or snarky, just explaining how things go around here and in ALL of the BMB's. You can ask all the questions you want, just don't get your panties all in a bunch when the responses you get aren't to your liking. But hey, if you don't like what you see, you could just "scroll on by".

Now that I've gotten all that out of my system, I'm bored and I'd like to draw this out as much as possible so I've decided I'll play. 

Idk when I started showing this time. But I do know that it was sooner than I started showing last time. I think last time it was like 25 weeks-ish, earlier if I was wearing something tight. This time it was probably more like 19 weeks, but yesterday was the first time a total stranger said something about my belly at work, and I'm 21 weeks today.

My bigger concern,  OP, is that your lack of grammar and ability to spell make me want to poke my eyes out.

I've had the same concerns! It's nice to be able to look at the HDBD boards (you can  look at other birth months too), and see that everyone is different! I am almost 21 weeks and I have a very small bump that appeared last week. I had two miscarriages prior to this pregnancy, so needless to say, it's been nerve-racking that I'm only seeing a little progress as far as the bump goes! My Dr reassured me that for a FTM and my size/shape, I might not have a obvious bump until 21-22 weeks. Trying to wait patiently! If you're concerned, talk to your doctor - they can tell you what's normal for you! Hope this helps!

maybe read the post that says READ ME FIRST. maybe then you'd see some of the etiquette with the board. 

then scroll down and see the magnifying glass? that means look for something. type in "showing". you could've had answers without even posting this.

OP, I think what got me was that literally one? maybe two? weeks ago, someone posted basically this exact same question. There were some who didn't respond positively to it, but there were a good many who did give genuine answers. (Including myself.) So, you wouldn't have even had to exert yourself by scrolling through the HDBD posts...you could have just searched and read that thread and gotten all the reassurance/personal experience you wanted.
