Baby related stuff this week?
Had a super quick checkup last Wednesday and got my tDap. We had our family/maternity pictures This weekend and I can't wait to see them. This weekend we're refreshing our memories with a hospital tour - it's been 5 years.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms?
So freakin' tired. Can't breathe. And this baby never stops moving. My feet will randomly swell up for no apparent reason.
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far?
I've been bitching a lot but it really is a miracle - even if it's a pain in the ass. I'm trying to savor the moments where I feel good because this is my last baby. Some of my favorite moments are when my son feels the baby move and tells me his plans for his little sister. I know how amazing it is at the end of this pregnancy journey and I'm looking forward to that the most.

preparing a hospital bag packing list, shopping for the final touch items for the nursery, and registering for an infant CPR course.

Super fatigued, back pain when sleeping...which makes sleeping more difficult, which makes me more fatigued!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far?
I love all the extra love and attention from everyone - for example, my husband has been great at giving extra back rubs, doing extra house work, or making special trips out to get food I am craving. Everyone at work has also been extra accommodating to me, and even strangers go out of their way to be more polite and helpful to me.

Apt Tuesday, hopefully assembling DS's new bed so we can put the crib in the nursery.

Acid reflux. Sleep sucks. Typical. I'm about to write out a list of the things I have to look forward to in between now and my due date. I am ready to be done.

always the kicks! I love having that bond and frequent reminder of LO!

29 weeks or a acorn squash. I legitimately don't know what an acorn squash is so ??
Baby related stuff this week?
I had an appointment with a high risk doctor last week who agreed with my decision to ignore everything my new neurologist told me to do yahh. She read the notes he put on my file and by the sounds of it they were quite nasty (I basically told him that I was ignoring all his advice and continuing to follow the advice of my previous neurologist- so I kind of deserve it). I explained why I did it (because all current research says to follow my previous neuro's advice and his was the opposite) and she was happy with that. She also measured my fundal height and I'm measuring 5 weeks ahead (f**k you everyone who is telling me I'm too tiny for the baby to be healthy).
I also got a belt to help stabilise my hips and it's making me feel better. Still struggling a lot, but no where near as bad as before the belt.
This Saturday we have our hospital baby class- instead of once a week for 4 weeks we are smashing it all out this Saturday. DH is super excited and it's really cute.

Tired, sore and heart burn are the main ones. I've started to get BH if I need to go to the bathroom so that's a fun one to wake up too.
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far?
DH's excitement. I'm really struggling with the whole pregnancy getting all the crappy symptoms one after the other. I'm finding it hard to enjoy it when I feel crappy all the time. DH is so excited about this baby and is so helpful. He's watching over me like I'm made of glass (which at times, I basically am) and taking care of me. He loves laying his head on my belly and then Bean will boot him in the head which he finds hilarious. I'm trying not to be to complainy around him because I don't want to ruin this whole experience for the both of us.

Rants / Raves / Symptoms? exhausted, achey, swollen feet & ankles, charlie horses & cramps in the arches of my feet, heartburn/reflux. I feel like a turtle stuck on its back every time I try to get up and I want to eat everything in sight but then get full after about 3 bites
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far? just feeling all of the movement and seeing my belly grow. a definite highlight was getting to see my son's face at my 30 wk growth scan
Baby related stuff this week? Hospital Visit on Sunday and some lady had her baby while we toured...pretty cool! The 'ol t-dap later today after work!
Rants / Raves / Symptoms? Okay, I am not in love with my updated mobile Bump. I can't post pictures unless I am on a PC....no thumbs up from this bumpie!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far? I'd have to say being able to have the ability to create another living being and feeling him poke and prod my insides and to know in a few short weeks he will be here and depending on us for everything! I can't wait to be a part of this crazy ride!
My other favorite thing is eating almost anything and everything I want and saying to DH the baby wants it! He can't argue ...hehe

How many weeks? Size comparison? 29! Which in my head will just be 30 for 2 weeks lol (ETA: we're a winter squash, which I guess is a small pumpkin...?)
Baby related stuff this week? I think I will start packing a hospital bag soon. Appointment on Wednesday (see rant) (Edit: thin --> think)
Rants / Raves / Symptoms? My appointments keep getting moved!!!! UGH. My GD test and appt. was supposed to be 5/11 but I moved it because of the school schedule we're on. (It was even day; I thought it was odd.) So then it was supposed to be 5/16 but the doctor (whom I've never met but was trying to see all the doctors since you never who'll deliver your baby) had a surgery. So now it's 5/18. Like...don't call me today or tomorrow to move it again!!!
Also: pelvic pain. I just do NOT believe that this frequency and severity is normal...but they keep telling me it is... I bought that 3-piece support belt. It helps with back pain more than anything. I noticed a small difference, but not enough for me to rave about it when talking about pelvic pain.
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy so far? How nice people have been: giving me maternity clothes, baby clothes they never used, letting me use the bathroom first... lol And of course, the fetal movement. This baby really amazes me lol

Hips and lower back hurt, but I know that it is probably because I started trying to get daily walks in, so yesterday I had to give myself a break because it hurt so bad.

Seeing how excited DD is about the whole thing. She has been begging for a sibling for two years!
