Sorry for another post. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website where you can find a counselor or psychologist specializing in pregnancy loss. I'm thinking about doing therapy. It seems necessary, at this point.

I'm so sorry @nmd9168. I've looked on psychologytoday.com and you can filter for people who specialize in infertility and grief/loss. I hope you find someone who helps!
Ditto @RiverSong15. You can also easily see on that website who you can correspond with via email, which I find easier to make the initial contact and just ask about their experience in the area.
ETA no need to apologize for posting, and this is a really important topic. I am glad you asked.

Nothing to apologize for, dealing with depression is a serious thing and you have taken the most important step towards recovery which is admitting you need help. You are strong and brave and we are here for you. Hugs.
I'm 29, husband is 30 Together since 2006 Married 01.17.15
I also might ask your OB/Gyn for a referral. You aren't their first patient to need help for depression for similar reasons and they may be able to recommend someone that works with their patients. I have used Psychology Today web site and have had mixed results which the therapists I have gotten. You may get someone great or you may get someone that you don't connect with or who uses a technique that's not the best for you. Don't feel like you need to stay with the first person you see if it's not working for you. Talking to your Ob-gyn is also helpful because she may suggest seeing a psychiatrist to explore medication options as well.
I just want to echo PP to say that you're very strong for reaching out for help. Do not feel like you are alone because you are not!! Everyone on this board has been there.
I went on prozac after my 4th loss. Get help. I looked for a counselor or psychiatrist but, I couldn't find a good one. I live in a very rural area. So I just went and saw my PCP and told him what was going on and he rx'ed prozac.
Good luck! I've found that counseling can be a HUGE help in other areas. Back in 2012 my (now ex) husband left me suddenly after 9 years and it was a huge shock. I got in counseling that weekend and it completely transformed me. I credit my counselor for helping me handle my divorce with resilience and grace. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if ever faced with a major life challenge. Hugs to you!

The first session went okay. A lot of introducing myself kind of explaining why I decided to come. I guess we'll delve into more as the sessions go on. Once a week at this point. So far, I feel comfortable with her. She's around my age and seems to be down to earth and normal. Thanks @PattersRN and @Hopefulmommy1980 for the well wishes. I'm praying this will help.
