WAYDTGKU: HIO ED/EoD (depending on DH's tendonitis :( ) pineapple core starting tonight, much more thorough charting, vitamin D, etc etc

R/R/CS: yesterday morning it was only about 58 in our bedroom so I was freezing. my temp also hit a new low at 96.98 which is the morning it should have spiked back up for O. This morning it shot back up .76 so I think I'll end up with CH's on today (in 2 days) instead of on yesterday (after tomorrow's temp) oh well, I'm assuming yesterday unless someone can tell me otherwise. Though my cervix is still HSO and CM is water so maybe I'm really am O'ing today? if so then we missed our -1 which is sad..... my mom is staying at our house tonight so ill be buying earplugs for her because that will not stop the HIO tonight lol

@loveinak So sorry about the loss of your gram... :(  Mine's in the hospital now and I haven't heard back yet if they transferred her to the rehab yesterday or not... I'm on pins and needles waiting for a text from someone who is down there... ((hugs))  I hope and pray you and your family will come together in this difficult time, help each other heal, and find some peace.

BusinessWife  omg, i saw that stupid clearblue commercial when i watching the mindy project yesterday too! it was a hard to watch....ughhh

mrsdaddario thank you for the well wishes. unfortunately, i'm still not responding to the letrozole   so, now there's a new game plan...Comid. i start that TODAY. i was a bit surprised by that. but my RE said that because my lining is thin and i'm still nowhere near ovulating, it doesn't matter. i'm on CD 23!  so while i'm happy that i get to start right away, i still feel defeated and disappointed that our first game plan was a bust.  ughh, this is all such a roller coaster.

    WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, OPKs, etc...

R/R/CS: I had a big dip in temp on CD16 and it recovered about halfway today. Was hoping for a bigger spike, but our room was FREEZING last night, so we're just going to go with that being the cause. FF still giving me the green light for today, but giving DH a break because we had a good night last night and I don't want to pressure him anymore, so fingers crossed we hit our timing right! I feel like the first cycle tracking everything is wonky anyway, so who knows.

WAYDTGKU: started RRLT today. I feel like it's making my tummy hurt but I'll give it a solid week just to be sure. Perhaps I just brewed it too strong. OPKs start tomorrow. HIO at least EOD will start then too.

R/R/CS: I had my first BFP dream last night. Those totally SUCK! I woke up so sad and disoriented that I wasn't actually in the middle of planning how to tell my mom and family the good news. My mood is better but not as positive as yesterday. I'm also freakin' tired. I slept a ton the last two nights and still nothing. I think my horrible food choices and lack of exercise are catching up to me. I need to get it together.

@sammajane19 sorry that your body still isn't responding!  Hopefully Clomid will kick it into gear and you see some results with that!
Did your RE just do more ultrasounds to see no follicle or uterus development and then decide that you can move straight to Clomid now? I find that interesting so I'm curious.

@sammajane19 Sorry to hear the Letrozole didn't work :( BUT yay for another plan starting right away! At least there is no waiting time. Fx that you have no side affects, and that this works! Is this a Clomid + IUI situation or are you just going to be on Clomid and TI?
  • Options
mokay19 yes, i had three ultrasounds on the Letrozole (2 after an increased dosage) and each time the ultrasounds showed that i had little to no follicle growth.  so that's why i am able to jump start on Clomid.  i hear the side effects of clomid can be intense so i'm a little worried!

@mrsdaddario no IUI's just yet - just Clomid plus the Ovidrel shot.

@beary67  Never been to a professional sports game...I saw a few high school football games but that's about it lol. I did work the football games at Everbank field in the suites, but no time to watch.
Unfortunately I'm in Florida, so my parents used to go but I wasnt into heat stroke and $8 waters. I think I'd like it now with beer and I think you can bring your own food now. But our team just..ughhh:

I do like the rules and competitiveness in college football tho, they seem to try harder (Roll Tide). Used to like the Steelers but I don't like NFL drama anymore, they're too afraid to get hurt too. Also in love with Hockey, I should move north...

@mrsdee15 & @Dilynne apparently I was born with RBF. I looked at some of my newborn pics and I'm the grumpiest looking newborn, but it's just my face. I used to get in so much trouble as a kid because it was considered "sassing" if my grandma/mom didn't like the way my face looked when they were talking to me.

WAYDTGKU: Still all the acronyms and lots of BD!

R/R/CS: Warning: Long winded whining ahead. I have no idea what my body is doing. My OPKs went from slightly less than positive to stark white as of last night. My CM has been pretty fertile in general (especially Saturday to Monday) but on and off (Sunday morning it was MIA but by Sunday afternoon it was back, etc). My temp did not rise above coverline today but it did rise. My poor DH is like well maybe it's because it was so cold in the room last night. I hope he's right but I'm not crossing my fingers. I also had headaches the last few days and I typically get ovulation headaches. The headache is gone today. So he thinks that's another reason why I 'should have' ovulated. I admire his positivity and reasoning but I'm super doubtful. We'll see what happens! All I can do is wait now. I'm done with OPKs for the month. I'm honestly feeling fine about the whole weird cycle albeit annoyed. I'm also generally grumpy because I'm back at work at the end of the quarter so my workload is insane, and I miss being able to be more active on here!

WAYDTGKU: eating too much junk food and telling myself that it's what my uterus and ovaries want

R/R/CS:  Has anyone been put on Clomid (or something similar) without an HSG?  Alsooo, have people who used the trigger shots given it to themselves or do the doctors have to do it?  I'm spending my day at work researching because my manager is gone so I have zero work motivation.

    GTKY:  Sarcastic, spontaneous, honest
Hey, @mokay19. While it isn't recommended to put an HSG & SA off (because if your tubes are blocked or your SO has a bad SA, you're putting yourself through IF treatment with side effects for no good reason), I did do 2 cycles of Femara/Letrozole with Ovidrel before getting the HSG & SA during cycle 3. My RE wanted to see how I'd respond to the meds and if we'd get "lucky" before further testing. I know of a few others with REs with this approach, but if you push for testing before suggested (i.e., now) they will do it. Luckily, my tubes/uterus are fine and DH's SA was normal. The HSG is supposed to be done between cycle day 6-10.

My RE nurse and DH have given me the trigger. I get my Ovidrel from a local pharmacy. When my CD12 appointment has landed on CD13, due to the weekend, I have taken my Ovidrel with me to my appointment just in case I'm getting ready to O and need it ASAP. The nurse did give it to me, though she's not supposed to since it's not technically their Ovidrel. There's basically no way you can screw up giving yourself the shot; it's pretty fool-proof. There are tons of Youtube videos of how-tos if you're still feeling anxious.

@hunnybunny17 I'm very sorry about your loss. Hugs to you.
Thank you for all the information. Do you go on base for all the treatment?  I assumed it was the military that wanted the HSG before treatment but maybe it's just this doctors preference if they don't always go in that order.
When do you find out where you're PCSing? We should get our orders in June so I've been trying to get things going before the summer.

@mokay19 Thank you. My base doesn't have a military treatment facility (MTF) so I am seen by a civilian RE. I know @AndiPandi127 is/was seen at a type of MTF so she may be of more help if you have any questions for your situation re: MTF. DH found out where he's PCSing back in February.
