So, I read about this website on an infertility blog and a couple days later someone brought it up to me in person. Fair warning, it's a little out there and definitely not for everyone. Anyways, it looks at tyc, conception and infertility from an energy/soul perspective. The person who recommended it does "energy work" and works with a friend of mine on how her adoption has impacted her. The website has some interesting audio pieces for free and some pre-conception meditations that you can purchase. Just thought I would pass it along in the event someone might find it interesting/helpful etc. I have listened to a few the past few days and if nothing else she has a really relaxing voice and brings up some interesting ideas.
A lady I know does energy work and I thought about going to her. Figured even if it didn't help it couldn't hurt anything! Then I found out my issue is with my blood. Not sure it would be helpful for my particular problems! I might still try it out anyway though. Youre doing it online? How is it making you feel? Any different?
I don't actually do energy work, but my friend had done it for years. She was adopted as an infant from another part of the world and works with a energy worker on how this has impacted her and her relationships. She swears by it. One of her workers mentioned the website to me when we were talking at a party after I mentioned my miscarriage.
Im with you in that there is a definite medical issue for my infertility issues, but I still found some of the discussions interesting to listen to. I always like different views or ways of thinking about things and love audio that I can listen to while doing mundane things around my house.
I have not used this at all, but I have been trying to practice meditating more often. If there are any drawbacks, I don't know what they'd be! Mindfulness, for whatever the reason is a good thing (IMHO).
I certainly don't think that meditation is a cure for infertility or RPL, but it's another tool in the tool kit. In my case, I have used it as a stress relief and it is a great help.
I have also seen mention of a program called Circle and Bloom, but I am not sure about the cost or accessibility of it.
