@lisswastaken we are doing an east coast road trip with most of our time in Maine.  Neither DH or I have really been to that region so it should be exciting!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 29/11

    Timing: -4, -3, -2, -1, O, +1

Testing: CD10 - BFN. Not planning to test again.

R/R/CS: Rave - I made it to the grocery store on the way to work and I got stuff to make a new recipe I'm excited to try out (Chile Chicken Soup). I love going to the store when pretty much no one is there so I can get my stuff and get out much quicker. I also took the heap of glass milk bottles I'd accumulated back in for the deposits. And, the sun is shining so it will be nice when I go home mid-day to walk our dog.

Rantish - The Zika stuff scares the heck out of me. My husband is a pilot so it's not an option for him to not travel to the affected areas. We talked to the doctor about it and she pretty much said he should bathe in Deet and try to stay in the city/at the hotel where there will be fewer mosquitoes due to environment and spraying. But that was also before this last week of bumping the # of states where those mosquitoes are present up to 30 and confirming the link between Zika and microcephaly. I'm trying to be chill about it but I would really appreciate if I could please get KU sooner rather than later to limit the risk of exposure.

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?
If I had to pick just one, ranunculus would win. I really like peonies and dahlias too, though.

@Kiki75 - I hope your freak out isn't because of my comment on here. It was not my intention at all! I'm right there with you, it scares the crap out of me, so much so that DH and I canceled our vacation to Puerto Vallarta in May. I'm sorry if I've added to your stress about it. :(
  • @Kiki75 sorry about the BFN.  Could still be too early though!

  • @DoctorDonna Oh no, no, no. Besides, I have the internet and a TV. :) There is absolutely no avoiding it. I've been freaking since they confirmed sexual transmission and then he had a trip to somewhere in Mexico. We've been lucky with trips so far but it definitely changed it from starting casually to starting out doing all the things. My doctor did make us feel better about everything, though. So, trying to cover the best practices bases and then just relax.

  • Phew! Busy afternoon. Last set of responses for me today—FYI, I will probably have to post and ghost tomorrow, crazy busy @ work. (And I’m always a bad bumpie on the weekend, I never respond because I hate mobile bumping! So, hopefully I’ll be back to my respond-y self on Monday!

Also, do yourselves a favor and don’t ever google “9dpo and cold-like symptoms.” Just don’t. lol.

@DoctorDonna and @LadyMillil thanks for the info about Zika. It is scary—I wonder if I get KU soon if I’ll need to cancel my vacation to New Orleans this upcoming July :/

@Mythril so sorry about your cycle. Thinking of you and hoping you get to come back to TWW soon. Take care of yourself!

@KiKi75 OH MY GOD. Do you watch “Bob’s Burgers?” I just put this together--is this why your username is Kiki and you have a capybara in your picture?!!?!? If not, ignore that whole thing, and I will call it a random coincidence. There is an excellent episode of that show with a capybara named Kiki. (I LOVE that cartoon!)  So sorry about the BFN, and hoping you can get KU soon to avoid the zika scare as well—I agree, it is very scary.

    *****CS******

    Month/Cycle:3/3

    CD/DPO:22/ 9 or 7

Timing:Not even sure what days now, see below

Testing:Don't want to think about it yet

R/R/CS: FF moved my O date from CD 15 to CD 13 after I put in this morning's temp which was taken an hour earlier than usual. This is my first month temping so don't understand why a lower temp would move my O day?? Will try to attach chart if anyone has any suggestions.

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower. I know it's cliche but I still love roses the most.

Edited to to try to make huge chart smaller. Don't think it worked, sorry guys.

Edited: CD 1 for me. None of you follow me!  ;)

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 28/12

    Timing: -5, -4, -2, -1, O, +1

Testing: every day until BFP or AF

R/R/CS: another BFN today. So then of course the logical thing to do was spend an embarrassing amount of time browsing charts on FF to see how many people get positives after having negatives 12DPO. There's actually quite a lot. Which did nothing for my BSC. Ah well, time must pass and so will this crazy feeling.

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?
I really didn't have a favorite until I planned my wedding and it became Gerbera daisies. I had a huge orange one in my hair and it was awesome.

  • Sorry to post and ghost. Crazy day at work. Will try and come back on later!

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 27/13

    Timing: -2

    Testing: all the days

R/R/CS: still no sign of AF!!! I did wake up to a pretty big temp drop though so I'm not feeling optimistic....

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?

Gotta agree with @kellybean1988 and say orchids! They were all over my wedding! I also had a peony bouquet so I have a soft spot for those too. And ranunculus are super cool.

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • @kellybean1988 Ha! Thanks for your vote of confidence.

It does bring up the question, though--you hear a lot about how you have to take your temperature at the same time each day to be most accurate, and I definitely do that (and then go right back to sleep). But I've been waking up later and later. Do you think your body, and by default, your basal temperature, shifts into wake-up mode based on when it's used to actually getting up? Thoughts, anyone? Am I just trolling myself to feel like I'm still in the game this month? ;)

R/R/CS: I can finally post again! I don't know what happened with the ap, but it's finally allowing me to post!

Also so it was freezing this morning!

I am on the other side of the world so we are going into autumn, but I love calla lilies :-)

    CD/DPO: 20/8

    Timing: Good

Testing: I'll wait for my period

R/R/CS: Just a crazy busy day today

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?

I don't know if I have a "favorite." I love most tree flowers... but especially Lilacs. Love Tulips, and Daffodils always make me smile. I think of little trumpets

And those variagated hydrangeas are amazing @moosette113.

  • Hi I'm new!

Month/Cycle: 1/1 (following loss in Feb)

    CD/DPO: 22/9

Timing: not sure what this means- can't remember the jargon!!

Testing: desperate to test but must wait til AF is due.

R/R/CS: very emotional today. Cried for about an hour this evening. Constantly thinking I have pregnancy symptoms and driving myself crazy!!!

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?

Ive had daffodils in my house for weeks but agapanthus are my favourite. Had them in my wedding bouquet.

good luck and well wishes to everyone here X
  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 30/11

    Timing: high score -3.-2.-1.+1

    Testing: DPO 7,8,9,10, & 11 all BFNs :(

R/R/CS: So feeling pretty out this cycle.  This will sound so flame worthy but I feel like my body would tell me by now... and if not my body then a friggin hpt. Stark white bfns got me down today. I was getting my hopes up for a christmas baby. My due date based on FF would have been 12/25.  Also the mugs I ordered to surprise the husband arrived today before I got home.. so the hubs asked about them and I had something planned for this but for the life of me I cannot remember what I was going to tell him was in the box.. so I just said its something I was going to surprise you if I was preggers this month, but I'm not.  And he was under the impression I never ovulated this month (sneaky sneaky me told him this so it would be a surprise)... so I confessed that I did ovulate but his swimmers didn't stick to my eggo :(

I know I'm not out til I'm out but.. for now I feel out - sorry for the pitty party everybody!

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?

Peonies with out a doubt. Just thinking about how these flowers are going to grow in my yard makes my day better :):)

  • Home from work, more time now  :)
@JediAlly85 Good luck with the interview next week. It sucks that in the US we have to worry so much about maternity leave
@thj101 I'm in the same boat as you. Was on BC for acne for years. Mine flared about 2 months after stopping and hasn't improved yet
@britters314 I know you will be missed around here. All the best to you and your DH that things get sorted out soon and hope to see you in a bmb soon to
@moosette113 I can't believe that pharmacist was so rude to you. I would have reminded him that he's not an MD and you didn't ask for his opinion.
@DoctorDonna Thanks for the info My DH is planning our anniversary trip for next months I I'm scared of this Zika stuff. Hoping that he did his research and we are going somewhere Zika-free
@meilay Sorry for CD 1. All the best for the next cycle
@cabu14 It's ok to throw a pity party sometimes cause this whole process is so difficult. Hugs to you and as you said you're not out yet. Also you can still surprise DH with the mugs just don't let him open the box yet!
  • Month/Cycle: 18/15

    CD/DPO: 23/2

    Timing: -1, 0, +1

    Testing: 12 dpo

R/R/CS: This is our second cycle back in the swing of things. We are moving back to my home town to be closer to family when we do get a BFP. We are going back to work on the new house every weekend so temping has been useless which is super frustrating! We should be settled in by a June though. I probably wouldn't even be posting here but I had an appointment with my Dr and he was highly convinced I had/was getting ready to O based on what he saw. I just really dislike the unknown/inconsistency!

GTKY: April showers bring May flowers! What's your favorite flower/plant?

    Peonies :)
