First Ultrasound

We had our first ultrasound today. We got to see the little heart beating and it was the most magical moment of my life. 126 bpm. anyone else have their first one yet?

Hi, had my first US today also, saw the heart beat; said it was 101, they want me to come back in 2 weeks to assure growth and all that. PS not a fan of the vaginal US

@cayaylonglegsI'm going in tomorrow too and I can't wait!! I'll only be 5w4d so I don't think we will be able to hear a heartbeat, but just seeing it on the screen will be good enough for me at this point

@erica0901 don't be too disappointed (or worried) if you don't see a heartbeat...my US at 5+5 only showed gestational sacs and yolk sacs.

Yes! Had mine on Monday the hb was 128bpm. It was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard.

Hello ladies, I had my first one at 5+5 last week. Measuring right on track but no HB yet, it's too early. @erica0901, You may get lucky and see it, but like @comealongponds said just go in expecting not to see it and if you do it's a bonus!
I go back Monday at 7w3d.

I had my first US today, and I'm 6+3. Sae the heartbeat today.. Maybe even 2! Going back in 3 weeks to have it checked again.. We went because I had a bleed on Monday which frightened us. 

This is my first healthy pregnancy, as my last one ended in a miscarriage early. 

I'm hoping things stay good

Had my appointment yesterday, and my ob said I can have the first ultrasound either end of this week or early next. I think we'll wait for next in better hopes of a heartbeat. I'll be 6w5d by my count then.

I went yesterday at 6+5 and we saw the heartbeat, rate 132.  It was amazing!!  Sending good vibes to all going later this week!

Just got back from our first US and saw the gestational and yolk sac, very excited! RE also told us that our little bean is measuring two days ahead of schedule He said by next week we should be able to see the heartbeat, I will be 6w4d by then.

Aww I am excited for you ladies!  I don't have my first ultrasound until I'm almost 12 weeks!   5 weeks from now.  It seems so long to wait!

I have had 4 so far.  I go for another one on Friday.  Hopefully we'll see the heartbeat.  My last one as at 6 weeks (last Thursday and we just saw yolk sac).  I have a lot of anxiety that things haven't progressed as they should this week.   FX all is well.  Excited about all the appointments this week!!

I had my second u/s on Monday at 6w1d. Saw the heartbeat and baby was measuring 6w. I have another u/s next week and am hoping to see an even stronger/bigger baby!

Just had mine, they moved me up from Monday because I've been having brown spotting. Couldn't figure out the spotting, but baby is healthy, heartbeat is 126 and the moved up my due date from December 5 to December 3... My son was a week early, so even odds on my having a Thanksgiving baby, haha. Maybe I should post in November, too!

I had an u/s yesterday bc of some light spotting and found out I'm probably going to be a December mom, not a November mom, like I thought. I measured 6 weeks 2 days. We weren't able to get a heart beat quite yet, but I go back Monday to have a sonograph with the higher powered machine so we'll get a better look. My HCG was 51,000 and progesterone 22.7 so we have high hopes!

First U/S was today at 6 weeks and the gestational sac measured 6+1, we didn't see a heartbeat but the doctor said it was too early to tell anything anyway. We go back in 2 weeks to check up on it unless something happens before then.

Our first is May 6th! I'll be 8+1. They had scheduled it for May 10...then I found out Mother's Day was the 8th, so thankfully they let me move it! So excited!

My first U/S is scheduled for 13 weeks on May 26th, I don't think it's regular practice in Canada to have one earlier, maybe you could pay someone to do it... I don't know of any private clinics, but I'm sure they exist. I would love to see a little bean earlier than 13 weeks!

@PrettyPalomino I'm in Canada and I'm getting one at 7W2D...they call it a dating u/s.  I just called my OB's office and said I wasn't 100% of my dates because last period was light and short and they booked me in without question!

Looks like we only get dating ultrasounds if we aren't sure of our dates. My doc asked when my LMP was and I banged that off no problem, so I guess I missed out. Should have told her I didn't know hah

1 embryo & heartbeat detected today. Measuring right on target at 6 wks + 3 days. RE did see a 2nd sac, but it was empty. Which means they probably both implanted but 1 stopped growing.

Got my doctor to move my appt up and scheduled a dating ultrasound for yesterday, and saw the little bean and the 129 bpm. I have the follow up appt with my doctor on Monday and am interested to see what due date they will give me-Nov 21 is what it would be from my LMP but I was measuring 6wks6days, which makes me December 3rd, and thats a big discrepancy. Excited!
