PCOS and MFI up in here. Tried for 2 yrs on our own/clomid before moving straight to IVF. Turns out that we suck at getting pregnant naturally, but somehow destroyed IVF. We did one round, got a baby, and had embies leftover. We are now trying for another. I had an HSG and ultrasound last week (to check uterine cavity). Now impatiently waiting to get on the FET train. Looking forward to meeting some peeps on this board but NOT reconnecting with anyone from last time bc HOPEFULLY they've all moved to PAIF. *fingers crossed for everyone*

AFM: My daughter turned 1 on Easter, a couple days after a failed frozen FET result. We had only one frozen embryo, which was rated as 'fair'. I consulted with the RE last Friday, and she blames the failed cycle completely on the embryo. She felt pretty positive about a new fresh cycle. I'm going to do that in July (I went through a July 2014 fresh cycle...hoping the month is positive energy for us). She is going to put me on a different protocol this time because I apparently was very close to having my fresh transfer cancelled due to overstimulation. I didn't know that! This protocol should give me less, but better quality embryos. I had 22 in my fresh cycle: 13 mature, 9 fertilized, 5 embryos tested with major abnormalities, 2 transferred (1 healthy baby), 1 didn't make it to be frozen, and the 'fair' one that we transferred in March.
You'll love the difference in protocol with the frozen cycle - so much easier! Best of luck to everyone. I'm interested in knowing if you find your body is a bit different this time. I had to get on blood pressure medicine, because I'm borderline high ever since the last week of my pregnancy. I also now have my uterine lining growing into my muscle...apparently they most commonly see that in people who have had a child.
Best of luck to everyone!!
@ltlavac - I'm hoping to do a transfer in May. Realistically though, we're looking at June or July. Keep in touch, maybe we'll be in the same month!
@chickyclg - wow, trying again? it seems so soon with twins! After having a singleton, I can only imagine how much work it would be to raise twins. Best of luck!!
@stranzm - i know, i have 'ivf guilt' too! Ours was ka-pow, healthy baby on the first transfer.... which is so lucky when you see other people on this board that have been trying IVF for yeeeeeears. I overstimulated on my round too (38 retrieved - thanks to PCOS, lol). I hope your next round goes well!!
I have my fingers crossed for you on your way for a baby#2. Once you get success you wanna get even more. I'm feeling like soon after our baby finally sees this world we'll not wait with another one. Moreover I'm absolutely satisfied with our clinic. I think we'll come back to it in a year if everything's ok. Of course again de. But this is the great chance for women like me to experience pregnancy myself. And this absolutely doesn't matter how your tiny miracle is created. He lives at your heart and you love him as much as you can.
May God bless you and every lovely lady here to have lots of baby dust this and the following year
