What's everyone eating??? :)

Just curious if anyone has any cravings or food aversions or weird taste buds yet.....I'm really bored with my current food choices and wanted to see what everyone else is eating or avoiding!

For me I can't eat cheeseburgers anymore - one of my faves - because the meat tastes "like blood" (i'm assuming that's the metallic taste everyone talks about?) and I was eating candy all last week and this week candy makes me feel greasy and sweaty. Lol sooo...

My diet consists of:
-Avocados
-Greek yogurt
-Sardines
-Pumpkin Seeds
-Eggs
-Tomatoes
-Apples
-Grilled cheese

Really craving a hot meal but everything sounds disgusting :(

The only things that are turning my stomach is scrambled/over easy eggs and raw onions.
Last time, I couldn't eat onions, peppers, or cooked cookies. I could eat the raw eggless dough.

No aversions here yet. I've just been hungrier than usual. I'm only 4w6d so I guess I'm pigging out before the sickness sets in (for me that's usually around 6 weeks). Some things  I've been wanting in larger quantities than usual are yogurt, Mexican rice (odd for me), Starbucks lattes, salads, and pizza.

With my first pregnancy I had so so many aversions but my second pregnancy I had very few. I'm interested to see what happens this time around. I definitely have already had heartburn. But that may or may not be from eating much more than usual. ;)

I'm 4+5, and I've been fortunate in that I haven't had any lasting aversions or morning sickness at all yet.  There was nanosecond pre positive pregnancy that chicken turned my stomach but not anymore.  So for now, I'm just trying to make healthy choices for the most part and eating fairly normally.

So far I have no real pattern of aversions.  At times, things will start to smell really bad, but that's about it.  I had a burger a Steak and Shake (I know, definitely not a healthy choice) that sounded super good, but once I got it, all the toppings smelled really bad.  I stripped it and ate only half of it.  DH says I'm crazy and ate what I didn't.

All I want is a smoothie for breakfast, but I never have time. That's the only thing I'm "craving."

See had I read this question earlier I would had said I'm craving everything because I was so hungry. But now even tacos, which tasted amazing at dinner sounds gross. My super smell has been worse than food aversion this time around. It's crazy how different pregnancies can be

Nausea started for me Sunday and unfortunately there's not much that sounds good. Carbs have been good - granola bars, cereal, crackers, chips, pasta.  Cheese usually sounds good.  I made baked ziti for dinner last night.  Pizza and BBQ have been sounding good but haven't had them.  And ice cream almost always sounds good.  I swear I usually like healthy things!

Oh and I want all my drinks really cold, which is unlike me.

Let me know if anyone has tips for healthier carby/cheesy meals!

It's more like what am I NOT eating lol. Hardly anything sounds good. Protein tends to be ok for me, along with salty things (chips and salsa for the WIN). Cheese is hit or miss. Eggs are still ok so far - I could not stomach a single egg during my last pregnancy. So far, no real strong food aversions. Major smell aversions though - one whiff of something is enough to know whether or not I can or can't stomach it. Nausea hasn't really kicked in yet, so I'm sure my list of cans/can'ts will continue to grow. =)

Same over here with the chips and salsa! Chilis specifically. & their guacamole with a tad bit of lime added. Yesss. Same as far as salty things. Either really salty or really juicy and sweet like pineapple! Yum!

Goldfish and vanilla activia yogurt were about all I could get down with my first pregnancy. 4+ years later, I still can barely eat goldfish.

No aversions yet but have been craving hard boiled eggs since we had deviled eggs on Easter! I eat like 3 a day! Today for breakfast I have a hard boiled egg, dried figs and I ate a piece of Ezekiel toast with smashed avocado and lemon sprinkled with hemp seeds and sunflower seeds. Lunch will be leftover sweet potato and kale soup probably with another piece of avocado toast and chicken thighs with a kale salad for dinner.

I started eating carrot sticks and shortbread cookies at the same time because the shortbread makes the carrot taste so good...

I have a little bit of a sweets aversion. Not enough to make me totally write them off, but ice cream and cupcakes and things are way less appealing than they were. Now if I develop an aversion to cheese, that will REALLY clean up my diet!

Craving orange juice and the other day it was brothy soup. I had made chili but it wasn't brothy enough. Gatorade helped so I guess I wanted salty liquid, which I normally hate, and I'd already had chips so I don't think I was low on sodium. Also, macaroni & cheese obviously goes with everything.

*maybe a TW for anyone that's giving up smoking*

Not food related, but the weirdest thing is a cigarette has been sounding really good??? And I can count all the cigarettes I've ever had on my fingers; I maybe have one like once or twice a year, so it's not a habit. Obviously, I'm not going to have one. So much for the theory that you crave things that are good for baby.

No food aversions with me, which I'm pleasantly surprised about since I did have them with my last pregnancy. I also don't have any cravings, so aside from avoiding lunch meat my diet is relatively the same.

In my last pregnancy my cravings switched between milk and cookies (every now and then) and super spicey food (all the time!). My spice tolerance (which was already pretty high) sky rocketed to an insane amount. I ate so much Indian food last time around. Of course the heartburn was horrid (and my son had a head full of hair to show for it!), but the cravings got so wild that heartburn was actually satisfying in a really strange way. Good thing DH loved Indian food. I'm interested to see what my pallet will do to me this time around....

I usually have half a grapefruit for breakfast or as a snack, all of a sudden they taste NOTHING like they used to... I wonder if all citrus fruits will taste funny, I haven't had an orange yet. Either way I am off grapefruit now.

Otherwise as already mentioned, no cravings and no aversions, just a very eerie self-control for clean eating. Although today I really don't feel like eating my veggie fried rice quinoa.

@StacieRPittard with DD1 I ate all the spicy foods! The hotter the better, but holy heartburn! However I can't say that mine was directly related to my food intake. It's my #1 symptom the second I conceive. Nothing helps it either.

I'm typically a foodie. I love all the foods! The past two weeks I have been so hungry. I'm currently still breastfeeding DD2 and want nothing but cookies, cakes, and brownies. Doesn't help that I have a small baking business so the ingredients are always on hand!

Todays lunch was was leftover grilled chicken, green beans, and brown rice. DD1 asked for pizza tonight and as tasty as it sounds the second my mouth salivated I got nauseous. Guess that's food aversion #1.

I just got back from an impromptu trip to Sonic for a peanut butter fudge milkshake.

Cheese, crackers, ground beef, avocados and olives right now are my ultimate cravings. So basically pizza and cheeseburgers always sound good.I have a little nausea just after I eat, and for the past week at about 4 or 5am, so I'll eat crackers and diet Sprite or something with carbonation if I'm awake. I've also been craving salmon and anchovies on occasion, so I guess I need some Omega 3s :) But the thought of some veggies right now, like broccoli and other salad toppings, don't sound great. I'm having a little paranoia about using ranch dressing because of not knowing the egg situation in it, but I decided if I buy it at the store on the shelf it should be fine. I notice I'm eating much more of a balanced diet now, so that's good!

I really want chicken soup but it's because a lot of food isn't sounding good and that is usually a go to.
my morning coffee has been upsetting my stomach so I'll probably cut it out and switch to tea.

I try to be healthier when pregnant and really watch what I eat. Greek yogurt, lots of fruit and veggies and salad. I also make a lot of "clean eating" soups that are loaded with veggies.
