Also, if I have to see one more "I'm Pregnant!" pranks Facebook post, I may scream. I saw 5 women who posted a picture of a positive HPT, then wrote, "April Fools!" in the comments after a bunch of people responded. That cuts deep. Pregnancy is not a joke to me. There's so many of them, a different friend started a game of bingo for it...FML. I'm staying off Facebook the rest of the day...
Ughhhhh, I forgot that was a thing people do. It's so unclassy and not funny. It's like telling a "why did the chicken cross the road" joke as an adult. Sorry you've had to see people being dumb

R/R/CS: Home sick today again. I have a chronic medical condition that can cause frequent pain. I'm on antibiotics for a respiratory infection now also. Usually my go to medication for pain is ibuprofen but I've been avoiding it due to TTC and Tylenol is doing nothing for my pain. On the verge of giving up on this month due to all these issues and just taking the ibuprofen. Theoretically though this month was our last chance to have a 2016 baby so it's hard to come to terms with that.

Sometimes they are not relaying your message accurately @aliciabhen I tend to go a little overboard for baby showers also. Makes me wonder how crazy I will get when I start shopping for my own. Hope poor DH can keep me in check lol @canavara lmao @ 'all the acronyms'. Reminds me of when I first started lurking here and I was like ' what the hell are they talking about??'. Lol learned a lot since then though @thj101 I wish I could reply more too but my work days are absolutely crazy and no free time except to wolf down some food.

Thank you so much for sharing that! I might have to post this in response to some the fake announcements. I know they think it's funny, but it's because none of them have had to deal with a loss or the possibility of infertility. They think it's an innocent joke, but it really does cut deep.
@BerkeBaby One of my friends actually just posted an "April Fools PSA" video on facebook about fake pregnancy announcements. She definitely doesn't struggle with infertility or having to wait long to get pregnant (and she'll be the first to admit that), so it was nice to see someone stand up for people who do struggle with those things!

I know it's possible to have LH surges and not actually O but I'm just going to call O tomorrow and move over to TWW on Sunday. I don't need to get geared up to BD but I'm worried DH is starting to catch on to why I'm so aggressively frisky and I'll need to be a little more seductive this weekend. Sexy undies and tight tank tops around the house all weekend it is! I had a great job interview yesterday and got contacted right away for the 2nd round interview next week. I was also contacted for two different interviews by the same organization (2 different positions and departments) so I'm feeling way better about my chances of getting a job soon.

@BerkeBaby I'm sorry you're dealing with those announcements! I tried that joke with DH one year when we were in college and learned my lesson that those aren't funny. As far as your students, I have the same issue. We have a tone of students where home isn't really the best place for them to be for extended periods of time so we try to match them with summer programs and things to get out of the house. Sometimes libraries or rec centers have teen/young adult summer programs. Maybe that's an avenue?
Edited to say: I'm so proud of participating in my first siggy challenge! It was really simple and truly nothing to write home about but I just feel like I leveled up or something.

Also, went to see my regular PCP to follow up on my blood pressure, which was high-ish the last time I saw her, but is improving. I told her I was on cycle 4 of TTC, and that I'd been charting and that my cycles had come back after HBC, and I had temps that indicated ovulation, and she practically high-fived me. I wasn't sure how supportive she would be, but it turns out that she thinks I'm doing everything right, and that she'd have a hard time justifying referring me to a specialist right now. That causes me a little concern getting to the 6 month mark, but I'm happy to have the support from her. Also, she happens to be KU herself, which I had no idea about. She's due in June, and when I asked her if it was her first baby, she beamed and said yes. It was very sweet, and I found myself very happy for her, even though I'm impatient for myself. GTKY: I am the worst practical joker ever, so I have nothing fun to contribute here

R/R/CS: I've been MIA on the WTO board for a couple days, but I stopped by to lurk and love tit plenty of times!! I had some side effects on the third through fifth day of Clomid... Felt almost hungover most of the days and had a terrible headache. Also had some hot flashes at night that woke me up. It's been better since stopping. Now I just hope it actually does something. Have an ultrasound to start checking things out on Monday.

I hope that at least made some people think twice.

I actually didn't see any, but a few days ago I saw several facebook friends posting something telling others NOT to post fake announcements because they are insensitive. I hope that at least made some people think twice.

R/R/CS: Well, CD 1 for starters. But my best friend and her family are passing through tomorrow and are stopping at our house for a few hours! I'm so excited to see her and her little ones!
