My 2nd beta was 10,000 something (first was 6,000). They said it was increasing at a good rate for this point in pregnancy. Once you get close to 5 weeks I guess HCG doesn't quite double every 48 hours. My first beta was at 4+6 and 2nd was at 5+1.
I had a little more spotting yesterday so they had me in today for an early ultrasound, which showed the yolk sak. It's too early to see much else (5+4 today). They did decide to run a 3rd beta today and I am going back in a week for another ultrasound.
Sounds like they are just being overly cautious, which I don't mind.
Just got the call back from the clinic that beta is at 437!!! Progesterone is a bit low at 7.9 so they want to start me on crinone gel. Anyone else using this?
I was on Crinone for my first two pregnancies and I'm on Endometrin this time. It's essentially the same thing and I hate it just as much as I hated Crinone. Lol. Walking around leaking all day is far from fun.

I had my first draw on 3/30, it came back at 119. Second draw was 4/1, it came back at 296. Third draw was 4/4, it came back at 1115. I have an u/s next Wednesday. Hopefully we can see baby!
First blood draw was Monday at 12dpo, Dr called and left a message without the actual value, but said it was early (I'm assuming low) so I rushed out and bought a clear blue weeks estimator and it said 2-3 weeks which I then looked up to be a minimum of 200. I go for my second draw today and should have the results tomorrow.
Beta today: 898 and progesterone is at 14.9 The doctor is pleased with these numbers and will see me back in a week for more bloodwork and my first ultrasound!

Still on the high side of normal. I had an u/s today and it showed possible twins. One sac with a visible yolk sac measuring 5w5d and another smaller sac that they didn't measure. It could be a twin that implanted late or a fluid pocket. I'll find out at my next u/s on Monday. Eek!!!

Hi Ladies- Here are my betas so far- today was the first one that has be a bit concerned. This was an IVF cycle and we transferred 2 high quality blasts. I have a scan already scheduled for Monday and nurse said after 5 weeks rate of doubling can slow.
Does anyone know if HCG is correlated with when you can see the heartbeat? My beta was 22,000 Monday at 5+4 and ultrasound showed a yolk sak, but no HB yet. They didn't seem concerned but you know how it is when you fall down the Dr. Google rabbit hole...

Finally got the call on my 2nd round of betas. Not sure of ovulation date but- CD 31- 172 HCG and 29 progesterone CD 33- 481 HCG won't have any more tests or U/S until May 3rd when I'm 8 weeks!

I know it is really hard to not worry. Try not to over analyze it. I've been doing it and it's caused me nothing but unnecessary stress. My HCG levels haven't been in alignment with what they expect, but things seem to be progressing OK. No 2 pregnancies are the same.

@lrg14, my hCG was 33,162 on Wed at 5w3d and we didn't see a heartbeat either. Just a yolk sac. I've never seen a heartbeat before 6 weeks, regardless of hCG level. I'm sure you'll see it at your next u/s!

Yeah, hCG has such a huge range that I don't think there's much of a correlation, if any, and they go more by measurements from u/s to determine viability. My doc didn't mention it but then they don't bother with betas either, even though I've had a MMC. It's driving me a little nuts not to know, but then it's not like they can really do anything anyway if the numbers are bad. I am on P4 supplements though.
I had my second u/s today and it showed one baby, measuring right on track with a strong heartbeat. The other sac was still there but hadn't progressed. It's most likely a vanishing twin or blood vessel.
My my hcg today was 102,841 with a doubling time of 73 hours, which had me a little freaked out until I learned it's typical for 6 weeks. Apparently doubling time slows to 72-96 hours after 5ish weeks.

My first draw was 14 dpo and was only 38. At 17 dpo, it was 141. These seemed really low to me, but all my OB said was that maybe it implanted late. I had my first ultra sound this morning and am measuring right on track at 6 weeks, 2 days!
Second round/UPDATE: 5w5d -23800, 17.9 progesterone 6w3d- 58,657, 15.9 progesterone (Monday April 11th) The doc said numbers look awesome, doubling time is now 3.1 days which I guess after 6 weeks it starts slowing down. Another U/s Monday!

Update: Went in today at 5w4d and HCG is 10,591 and progesterone is 16.1. RE said they are happy with those numbers. It seems on the lower end to me looking through everyone else's numbers, but I guess everyone is different?

Light spotting over the weekend so I had an u/s yesterday. Measuring 6 weeks 2 days. I return Monday for a sonogram to hopefully see the heartbeat!

Got my third and final beta drawn today at 19dpo. Will find out tomorrow what my number is!
