Intro, third time's the charm?

Hello ladies, long-time lurker graduating from the TTCAL forum. This is my third pregnancy, previous 2 ended at 10wks and both had a healthy heartbeats at 6ish. The second caused by chromosomal abnormality and the first inconclusive. Every other test has come back normal, so we are hoping third time is the charm! I am VERY early, 3w4d, the ob nurse couldn't believe that I turned a positive test that early, but I have been tracking my cycles, temping and my menses are only 3-4 days long. I don't know, it kind of freaked me out when she put me on hold. I am 12dpo is that not normal?? She kept mentioning that I hadn't had a missed period yet. If you are actively ttc you know when to test...and likely test early....
Anyways, I am waiting to get some blood work this afternoon and then in a few days. I hope this is it and I am happy join you wonderful ladies (shout out to my buddies from TTCAL!)

Third time was the charm for me! I'm almost 22 weeks now. And I tested positive at 9dpo. My dr's office tells people to test again after missing their period before making an appt.

Congratulations! I think you probably just caught the nurse off guard. They aren't used to women temping, using OPKs, etc.

Welcome and congratulations i'll cross all my fingers and toes for you! 12dpo is totally likley to get a BFP. I got mine at 12dpo and if you look at the statistics on countdown to pregnancy, 12dpo is the day were most people start getting BFPs ( I take that website with a grain of salt but it's still nice to see.)

I got a positive at 3-3. My doc saw me at 3-4 because I had low progesterone for my first 2 pregnancies, one of which was a loss. So for me it is essential to test early and do blood work so we could determine whether or not I needed to supplement. Surprisingly, this is my 3rd pregnancy and the first one I didn't need to supplement progesterone.

Thanks all! Glad to be here. I had a blood test confirmation today and good levels of progesterone. Will go back on Monday for another hcg measurement to confirm pregnancy is progressing well.
