SIS, best CD to have it done??

Good Morning Ladies,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best CD to have the Saline Sonogram done?? My doctor wants it done CD5-12 so im wondering if I should go for 5 or wait a little or even if it makes a difference!!

Any suggestions??

I'm having mine done this Friday on CD 13 per their request.

@laur1212 My doctor just scheduled me for Friday as well!! For me its CD 6. 

I wonder if the length of cycle makes a difference??

@ADRIANAC1982 I know I'm also getting a bunch of other testing done so I'm thinking they wanted to bang it all out in one visit! Which I prefer but now I'm wondering if it matters when lol

@laur1212 I had one set of blood work the 11th, I have to be there tomorrow at 7:45 a.m., for an ultrasound and MORE bloodwork, then back Friday 7:45 a.m., for the SIS. 

So I def understand, I wish I could have done it all in one swoop! My best friend is also set to be induced tomorrow evening so Ill be with her at the hospital until she delivers!! So its going to be a BUSY week!

I just can't wait to know how I responded with the clomid and get my IUI date!

@laur1212 GOOD LUCK!!! I hope it went well! We arent quite there yet, but after this test well go back April 6th to go through all the results and begin whatever it is the doctor decides...

Good Luck! I had 1 at CD 7 and 1 at CD 10 and they both equally sucked (sorry to be a Debby Downer).

I haven't had this done, but I remember reading something saying that the best time to have this just is just after your period has finished. Good luck!

@chickyclg Its okay, my tests the last time where all ehhhhhh, so im used to it! I've had it done before and there was a slight blockage, so well see if its gone this time around! Fingers crossed!! 

@chicandbubbly Thanks, yeah Ill have mine done tomorrow, so CD 6. Its the last of my workup so hopefully this goes well

@ADRIANAC1982 so I thought I was getting a saline ultrasound today but I was wrong. He said if AF comes after this first IUI then I get one. Today's ultrasound I had 5 follies! Just waiting to ovulate! So I go back on Sunday for another one!

@laur1212 I had my SIS as scheduled on Friday...Ugh, the pain!!! BUT on a happy note, the blockage that they saw on/in my left tube is now gone! So thats progress, my friends Dr told her sometimes the saline clears out the tube if there is a block so maybe thats what did the trick!! 

Next up, consult on the 6th to FINALLY proceed!
