@l9i sorry that you’re feeling out, I think it’s a defense
mechanism that we acquire for sure. Fx you’re wrong this cycle!
@houseofsetters way to go on Whole 30! I’ve looked at it a
few times, and I really wonder how much better I would feel if I tried it, but
I just don’t think I ever could. I have no willpower.
@JessCL I’m jealous of your upcoming trip to Mexico! And I
don’t think I’d be able to go without packing a couple tests just in case,
haha.
@pretzel2plus1 yay for a temp rise, that’s always a good
thing!
@Heatho620 good luck with catching up on your work. I’m off
tomorrow so I should be proactive and get ahead today, but bumping is so much
more appealing.
@kfair001 so sorry about impending CD1 FF can really mess
with you with all of their pregnancy points and percentages.
@Sparty18 sorry about the temp drop. I hope you are able to
get some good information from your PCP and OB, and get started on any testing
if needed. Side note, that Hawaiian life sounds like a dream!
@itsmehere1212 congrats!! I had a feeling you’d be back with
this update today! H&H 9 months to you!
@BerkeBaby I don’t know what the “rule” is, but I don’t
think you need to go back to WTO, since you aren’t really expecting to O, right,
because of the progesterone? I hope the rest of the school year flies by for
you! And thank you so much for the FX, that truly means a lot.
@Lecool that’s probably a good call avoiding the Charts Like
Mine feature. It’s too late for me this month though, I’m already well down
that rabbit hole, haha. I know what you
mean about trying to act casual, but I have no chill either. I was thinking
this morning, oh well I’ll know either way in one week. Like as if that means I
will just quit obsessing and just wait the damn week.
@becbec28 Are you temping? There’s really no way to know if
you O’d the same day or the day after or even 2+ days after the +OPK unless you
are also temping. For me, I normally O the day after a +OPK, but everyone is
different. If you aren’t temping, then to be safe I would go with the later
date for testing purposes.
@hupp0013 If money/jobs were no issue, I would love for us
to be snowbirds, too. Best of both worlds!
@juliebeannn I love your plan vs. reality, haha. I’m right
there with you, every TWW I’m all, I might as well just wait until AF is late
to bother testing. Then it’s like every day that goes by I am making deals with
myself to move up testing by a day.
@sLass42 fx AF stays away for your honeymoon! Have fun!
@QueenSunscreen I hate when your LP plays tricks with your
emotions. But for now, your temp is up and no AF, so you’re still in the game.
Fx for another increase tomorrow!
@Sugargirl1019 I am always daydreaming about how we’ll tell
our parents, but I have to draw the line at actually purchasing anything. It’s tough to resist for sure.
@BerkeBaby So sorry that you’re having such a confusing
cycle. Hopefully you get answers soon.
@Lecool What a nice comment from DH. That’s so sweet! Just replaced ours too from the gross yellowy
ones and it’s amazing how white the new ones look! lol
@itsmehere1212 CONGRATULATIONS!! Use those wandfos, girl!
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 27
Timing: awesome until CD20
Testing: Friday if I can hold out that long and no AF
R/R/CS: every time I go to the bathroom, I have to psyche myself up in case there is spotting, and it's like a mini triumph every time there's not! Also, I'm trying to SS (because I obviously like torturing myself) but there's nothing to SS....which in itself is SS because I'm like, "maybe AF isn't on her way?" gah! I feel the most tempted to cave and test than I ever have before. Probably because our timing was so good this cycle that I can't even reason with myself there
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? No offence to all you Americans on here, but I have absolutely no desire to live anywhere in the US...maybe Hawaii since it seems the most exotic? or Minnesota since it's the most like Canada...but I feel like you'd get the weather of Canada without the benefits of it, so I changed my mind....somewhere pretty like Vermont? glad this isn't real life, obviously I have no idea.
TTGP history (*TW*):
Started TTC Oct 2015 BFP #1 June 2016: EDD 16 March 2017, MC July 2016 Re-started TTC Aug 2016 Started IF testing Nov 2016 Spontaneous BFP #2 January 2017: Rainbow Baby Boy September 2017 BFP #3 November 2018: Baby #2 expected August 2019
Timing: 05, -3. -1 no plus one. Way too
sore last night from yard work to HIO one more time. We will get back into a rhythm
this week just in case +OPK was just an early surge
Testing: not planning anything, waiting for
AF to be REALLY late… stupid long cycles
R/R/CS: We got so much yard work done
yesterday and I feel so accomplished about it but I was SO SORE last night that
the thought of HIO made me hurt haha. So hopefully we can rally tonight. I am happy
I don’t have to drive 2+ hours today to see a pt but I will eventually have to
do it this week so that still sucks.
GTKY:
If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I am
really happy being in the PNW right now. We moved a couple years ago from AZ
and I love having the seasons and cold weather. I do wish that my side of the
family lived closer so I can visit more easily.
ETA: Congrats and H&H 9 months @itsmehere1212 Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 22/unknown
Timing: decent
Testing: probably start tomorrow, I have a lot of cheapies to blow through.
R/R/CS: Still feeling weirdly down about this cycle. I also woke up sick so there's that.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? Back to NY if I suddenly became a billionaire overnight. Otherwise, I don't know. I like where I live now (Pittsburgh), but California would be nice too. That weather
@itsmehere1212 Yes!! I was hoping for good news from you today. Congratulations. H&H 9!
Be back later for comments hopefully. Time to sit through a department meeting - _ -
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 24/6
Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1, 0
Testing: Current plan is 10 DPO and then again on Easter. We'll see if I can actually hold out until 10. 8 will be the earliest.
R/R/CS: It's Monday. Rant enough. I also had a BFP dream last night. Well kind of. It wasn't a BFP, I actually already knew I was pregnant and was getting an ultrasound. As always waking up from those is sad. Between that and my crazy cousins on Saturday I have hopes that are WAY too high for this month.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? Im a home body. I love my home state. I love having all four seasons from 90+ degree Summer's to full on blizzards in the winter. I don't want to move! I want to stay here!
CD/DPO: CD21. Not sure about ovulation this month, so thinking in CD's instead of DPO's.
Timing: CD12, CD13, CD15
Testing: AF is usually pretty clockwork, so I don't like to get my hopes up. If she arrives on CD28, then okay, if not, I'll consider testing. Never had to before.
R/R/CS: I had my CD21 progesterone testing done this morning, as well as some chromosome testing. When I was a baby, popular opinion was that I had Down Syndrome. A whack of testing was done when I was 4 months old, and while I obviously don't have it, a doctor very vaguely told my mom that 'something may be off that may affect her when she's older'. My OB/GYN didn't hesitate to order the tests as soon as I told him that, which makes me be concerned that something is off that could affect this process but I'm trying not to worry about something I have no control over. But it's going to be a long 10 days until I go back and see him for these results.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I'm Canadian, but used to work on cruise ships, so I spent a lot of time in the US, but only coastal areas with major cruise ports. However - I fell in love with Key West, and could easily see myself living there.

@Sugargirl1019 - it's always so hard not to think about reveals. Last month I was thinking how Mother's Day would be the perfect time to announce it and how cute it would be to buy our mom's 'Grandma' Mother's Day cards and announce it that way. This month I'm trying to justify how Mother's Day would still be like 8-9 weeks along and that's sufficient to tell our families. After that... well maybe not.
My best friend did this the ENTIRE TWO YEARS she was trying. "If I get pregnant <THIS> month, then that means I'm <this> far along then, then <this> far along then, then I could announce it at <this> family occasion, then I couldn't travel <these> months, then the baby would be born <this> month"... and so on and so forth. Every month for two years.
But she had her IVF baby last late August, and therefore had to miss my early October wedding (we don't live in the same country), and I wasn't bothered in the least because I was so happy for her. And the timing obsession? I get it now .

I'm currently wondering how Ovia can call itself a Fertility app... it did not make any adjustments to my ovulation day based on temps, cm, and opks. If I listened to Ovia, I may have missed my fertile week. Ovia is telling me I HAVE to ovulate on CD14..

MelissaM090 and Sugargirl1019 I have done the whole "if I get pregnant this month than that means this" the whole entire time I have been trying. I did a ton of not being sure about travel planning last fall as everyone (Including me) thought I would be pregnant by then. I have tried to stop having it be a part of family conversation and I have tried to not say it allowed since about early winter but I still think it in my head pretty much everyday!
Just today I bought a bunch of gifts on the off chance this is my lucky month to announce it to our families...they can be used at any point but being mail can take a super long time to get here I didn't want to wait to long (and being that everyone knows we are trying and some people know we just had the IUI if we have a bfp we won't have time to get gifts before we get harassed about what the results are). Clearly I stepped off the ledge today...hoping I can pull it back together as I don't want to fall apart if the IUI doesn't take this cycle. - I mostly try to play relaxed when things haven't worked so far friends/family as I don't want them to get worked up about it as it would stress me out more.

R/R/CS: As someone else said, I have no chill. Every single feeling in body is analyzed right now and it's only month one. I have had ovarian cyst surgery, bad endo, etc so I'm trying to remind myself daily that it may take some time and girl you just have gas from that mexican food...
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I would love to live anywhere on the water - lake, river, beach, doesn't matter. However, I am very lucky to live in a huge city with a great economy... and holy sh*t I'm officially old with an answer like that! So sensible.
R/R/CS: I changed the FF detector to OPK, and it gives me an O date of CD13, so I'm going to roll with it. I'm doing my CD 21 blood work tomorrow (a day early, which actually might be better if I did actually "O" on CD13), so I should get some additional insights into my cycle so I'm looking forward to that.
GTKY: I'd love to move to Colorado (Denver or Boulder) or the Pacific Northwest. I love the mountains, and would move to either of these places in a heart beat.
@HurricaneAmelia, welcome back. @l9i, sorry that you are feeling out this cycle. I've only been to Seattle in passing, but would so like to take some time to explore the Pacific NW. @houseofsetters, yay for making it through the first week of the Whole30 @sldp123, hope that you end up in the positive 50% @JessCL, hope that you have a great time in Mexico! @ladystinson, the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountain area is gorgeous. I'm from Tennessee originally and have made my way into that area a few times...so beautiful. @pretzel2plus1, glad that your temp is going up. @Heatho620, hope you were able to make a dent into your pile of work. @kfair001, sorry about CD1. Enjoy all the booze of your choice. @Sparty18, sorry that things are not looking good this cycle. Hugs. @itsmehere1212, congratulations! Wishing you a H&H 9 months. @BerkeBaby, it must be nice to really love where you live...I sincerely have wanted to move almost since we moved here. My DH says that it's really in my head, but I'm a mountain person at heart and where we live is really flat. @becbec28, hopefully someone else who has more experience will chime in to help you with your question. You can change FF to detect O based on OPK info and go with that too if all else fails (that's what I just did since I'm only going of OPK info this cycle). @Lecool, what your DH said is seriously one of the sweetest things I've heard as well. @hupp0013, I've always wanted to visit MN. I've heard that it's beautiful. @juliebeannn, fingers crossed for you if you decide to test tomorrow. @sLass42, hope that you have a great time on your Honeymoon! Also good luck with your house. @QueenSunscreen, sorry that your cycle is being a bit weird this month. Hugs. @LadyMillil, so sorry that this wasn't it for you. Hugs. @SugarGirl1019, I think it's pretty natural to want to plan those kinds of things...I've got something squirreled away already to surprise DH with, oy! @BecauseLove, sorry that you aren't feeling well because of the Met. @Totororyinlove, sorry about CD1 @Linzrunz, you are starting to make me want to sign up for a race even though I'm not a runner. I imagine the sense of accomplishment afterwards is pretty great, plus it must feel nice to be working out towards a tangible goal (rather than "just" to be healthy, etc.). @Buthayna, I'm totally not offended...for the longest time, I wanted to live abroad, LO. @RottieMom86, hope that you are feeling less sore very soon. Way to go getting all that yard work done. @Kay6519, glad that you are having such a great day! @writeress, hope you are feeling much better soon. @aliciabhen, sorry about the BFP dreams...they're never fun. @MelissaM090, hope that all of your blood work comes back clear/good. I hope that the time between now and when you get your results passes quickly. @AMGreely, umm...you kind of sound like my DH. He's completely realistic about where we live (good economy, great cost of living, etc.). I sitting over here going, please can we move away.
ETA: What type of blood work I'm doing and parenthetical comment.
@H4aPartyof5 Do it!! The runners high afterward is real and it is amazing. I cry when I see the finish line every time. Partly because I'm happy the pain is almost over and partly because I'm so proud of myself. I was never a runner before I signed up for my first race almost 6 years ago. Try out a 5k and look for one where the emphasis is on the fun! A color run or a blacklight run is a good one, IMO. I could go on and on about how awesome races are. If you ever have any questions or anything, feel free to PM me. I'm by no means an expert, but I can tell you about my experiences.

@houseofsetters - congrats on whole30! Did you go through carb flu at all?
@ladystinson - I wonder if your O got delayed from being sick. It’s so hard to tell because that high temp really throws it out of whack, but my guess would be CD21 if you have Oed, just based on the CM and increase. Are you temping orally?
R/R/CS: I did pilates yesterday for the first time in a year and my lower abs are so freaking sore right now. I'm doing everything I can to stay busy and not go BSC during this TWW. Can't let myself say "omg implantation cramping" if my muscles are too sore from exercise to even be able to feel something like that, right?
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I used to live in Austin. My OH and I met there when he visited for SXSW. We didn't date right away but stayed in touch and I ended up moving to be with him about a year later. I frequently want to go back, but I care way too much about him so it's a sacrifice I'm happy to make, but that doesn't mean I don't wish I were there.
CD/DPO: -1 (yes, I'm on cycle day negative one of cycle 13) But for cycle 12: 31 /12 (I was right about manually changing crosshairs, so I changed them back)
Timing: Not ever good enough
Testing: Nope
R/R/CS: Spotting started today after a temp drop this morning, right on time for my OB appointment tomorrow. Going to do an ultrasound and then talking about where to go from here. Probably a referral to an RE 2 hours away. Whatever. This TTC business is for the birds.

For anyone who was following along.... 17 day LP turned into the shining today. I'm ok with that. I knew I was out after a week of BFNS. I'm just relieved to be back in the game. Here's to a Christmas baby! Off to WTO!
Mama to two perfect little girls. Lucy 07-13-11 Violet 03-13-14 Conceived #3 since September 2015 11-25-15 twelve week loss 07-21-16 ten week loss 10-03-16 5 week loss TTC again soon!
R/R/CS: Last cycle was an emotional roller coaster that ended with a CP. I said I wouldn't test early again but I know that won't happen.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I've always loved Chicago although I can't imagine living in the city with my little monsters in tote. I think I would miss the conveniences of the suburbs.
@canavara No carb flu!!! I totally expected to feel like crap last week, but the whole thing has been surprisingly easy. I do miss cheese something fierce, though!
Thank you so much for all the kinds words everyone!
I'm late to the game but congrats!!!!

Team Blue X 2!
@HurricaneAmelia yay for good timing! Fx for you!
@l9i sorry that you’re feeling out, I think it’s a defense mechanism that we acquire for sure. Fx you’re wrong this cycle!
@houseofsetters way to go on Whole 30! I’ve looked at it a few times, and I really wonder how much better I would feel if I tried it, but I just don’t think I ever could. I have no willpower.
@JessCL I’m jealous of your upcoming trip to Mexico! And I don’t think I’d be able to go without packing a couple tests just in case, haha.
@pretzel2plus1 yay for a temp rise, that’s always a good thing!
@Heatho620 good luck with catching up on your work. I’m off tomorrow so I should be proactive and get ahead today, but bumping is so much more appealing.
@kfair001 so sorry about impending CD1 FF can really mess with you with all of their pregnancy points and percentages.
@Sparty18 sorry about the temp drop. I hope you are able to get some good information from your PCP and OB, and get started on any testing if needed. Side note, that Hawaiian life sounds like a dream!
@itsmehere1212 congrats!! I had a feeling you’d be back with this update today! H&H 9 months to you!
@BerkeBaby I don’t know what the “rule” is, but I don’t think you need to go back to WTO, since you aren’t really expecting to O, right, because of the progesterone? I hope the rest of the school year flies by for you! And thank you so much for the FX, that truly means a lot.
@Lecool that’s probably a good call avoiding the Charts Like Mine feature. It’s too late for me this month though, I’m already well down that rabbit hole, haha. I know what you mean about trying to act casual, but I have no chill either. I was thinking this morning, oh well I’ll know either way in one week. Like as if that means I will just quit obsessing and just wait the damn week.
@becbec28 Are you temping? There’s really no way to know if you O’d the same day or the day after or even 2+ days after the +OPK unless you are also temping. For me, I normally O the day after a +OPK, but everyone is different. If you aren’t temping, then to be safe I would go with the later date for testing purposes.
@hupp0013 If money/jobs were no issue, I would love for us to be snowbirds, too. Best of both worlds!
@juliebeannn I love your plan vs. reality, haha. I’m right there with you, every TWW I’m all, I might as well just wait until AF is late to bother testing. Then it’s like every day that goes by I am making deals with myself to move up testing by a day.
@sLass42 fx AF stays away for your honeymoon! Have fun!
@QueenSunscreen I hate when your LP plays tricks with your emotions. But for now, your temp is up and no AF, so you’re still in the game. Fx for another increase tomorrow!
@LadyMillil so, so sorry for the BFNs.
@Sugargirl1019 I am always daydreaming about how we’ll tell our parents, but I have to draw the line at actually purchasing anything. It’s tough to resist for sure.
@BecauseLove Fx for your IUI!
Married: July 2015
BFP: 5/20/16 | EDD: 1/28/17 | Twin boys born 1/16/17
@itsmehere1212 Congrats!!!! H&H 9!
Hopefully I don't see any of you over there! FX for all of you!
YAY @itsmehere1212!!!!! I came into TWW just to look for you. So happy for you.
@Heatho620 Same boat but I’m in such a down mood that the last thing that I want to do is work. Hope your day flies by!
@Sparty18 Sorry about the BFN and thinking that you’re out but it’s still early. FX for you
@itsmehere1212 Congrats on the BFP! H&H9M to you.
@BerkeBaby So sorry that you’re having such a confusing cycle. Hopefully you get answers soon.
@Lecool What a nice comment from DH. That’s so sweet! Just replaced ours too from the gross yellowy ones and it’s amazing how white the new ones look! lol
@becbec28 South Caroline =
@hupp0013 Sorry, I’m waiting for AF too. Hopefully you have a better outcome than me.
@Juliebeannn FX for testing tomorrow!
@sLass42 Hoping that you’re not out this cycle. FX for you.
@QueenSunscreen Sorry about the BFNs. Me too.
@Sugargirl1019 Great timing! FX for you!
@BecauseLove GL to you this cycle!
@linzrunz FX that you can hold out on testing. I caved early this cycle. Lol
ME: 28 | DH: 31
DATING SINCE: 09/20/08
MARRIED: 10/26/15
TTC #1 SINCE: OCT/NOV 2015
BFP #1 June 2016: EDD 16 March 2017, MC July 2016
Re-started TTC Aug 2016
Started IF testing Nov 2016
Spontaneous BFP #2 January 2017: Rainbow Baby Boy September 2017
BFP #3 November 2018: Baby #2 expected August 2019
Month/Cycle: 5 (7 benched)
CD/DPO: 20 / 2
Timing: 05, -3. -1 no plus one. Way too sore last night from yard work to HIO one more time. We will get back into a rhythm this week just in case +OPK was just an early surge
Testing: not planning anything, waiting for AF to be REALLY late… stupid long cycles
R/R/CS: We got so much yard work done yesterday and I feel so accomplished about it but I was SO SORE last night that the thought of HIO made me hurt haha. So hopefully we can rally tonight. I am happy I don’t have to drive 2+ hours today to see a pt but I will eventually have to do it this week so that still sucks.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I am really happy being in the PNW right now. We moved a couple years ago from AZ and I love having the seasons and cold weather. I do wish that my side of the family lived closer so I can visit more easily.
Congrats @itsmehere1212!!!!!
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 29/10
Timing: meh...
Testing: Trying to hold out for AF
R/R/CS: Nothing but great news today! So excited!
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why?
I'm not really sure. I've lived all over the US already. I would prefer to live in another country and explore other cultures.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 22/unknown
Timing: decent
Testing: probably start tomorrow, I have a lot of cheapies to blow through.
R/R/CS: Still feeling weirdly down about this cycle. I also woke up sick so there's that.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? Back to NY if I suddenly became a billionaire overnight. Otherwise, I don't know. I like where I live now (Pittsburgh), but California would be nice too. That weather
Married: November 2015
TTC#1: January 2016
BFP: 5/02/16 - MC: 5/27/16

GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I would love to live anywhere on the water - lake, river, beach, doesn't matter. However, I am very lucky to live in a huge city with a great economy... and holy sh*t I'm officially old with an answer like that! So sensible.

Testing : 15/16 DPO
R/R/CS: I changed the FF detector to OPK, and it gives me an O date of CD13, so I'm going to roll with it. I'm doing my CD 21 blood work tomorrow (a day early, which actually might be better if I did actually "O" on CD13), so I should get some additional insights into my cycle so I'm looking forward to that.
GTKY: I'd love to move to Colorado (Denver or Boulder) or the Pacific Northwest. I love the mountains, and would move to either of these places in a heart beat.
@HurricaneAmelia, welcome back.
@l9i, sorry that you are feeling out this cycle. I've only been to Seattle in passing, but would so like to take some time to explore the Pacific NW.
@houseofsetters, yay for making it through the first week of the Whole30
@sldp123, hope that you end up in the positive 50%
@JessCL, hope that you have a great time in Mexico!
Hugs.
@itsmehere1212, congratulations! Wishing you a H&H 9 months.
@Totororyinlove, sorry about CD1
@Linzrunz, you are starting to make me want to sign up for a race even though I'm not a runner.

@itsmehere1212 Congrats! H&H 9 months!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 24/5
Timing: -3,-1,+1
Testing: Nope!
CD/DPO: -1 (yes, I'm on cycle day negative one of cycle 13)
But for cycle 12: 31 /12 (I was right about manually changing crosshairs, so I changed them back)
Timing: Not ever good enough
Testing: Nope
R/R/CS: Spotting started today after a temp drop this morning, right on time for my OB appointment tomorrow. Going to do an ultrasound and then talking about where to go from here. Probably a referral to an RE 2 hours away.
Whatever. This TTC business is for the birds.

Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 14/1
Timing: -4, -1, 0, +1
Testing: 10 dpo
R/R/CS: Last cycle was an emotional roller coaster that ended with a CP. I said I wouldn't test early again but I know that won't happen.
GTKY: If you could move anywhere in the US, where would it be and why? I've always loved Chicago although I can't imagine living in the city with my little monsters in tote. I think I would miss the conveniences of the suburbs.
ETA: Congrats, @itsmehere1212 !!! H&H 9!!
