@reesaXden So far as I know, no SCH. Nurse at the OB's said that since it's just light brown and not associated with pain to just monitor it for now. She didn't seem concerned, which was reassuring, and said there was no need to come in unless something changes. As much as I'd love to have them do an extra u/s or even just hear the heartbeat again, I'm glad that no one there thinks I am in need of one. I'll probably just keep off my feet as much as possible and try to stay distracted.
@ccreagh I'm with you. I keep thinking, "After the next appointment, I'll get excited. I'll believe this is going to work!" But, I'm still constantly freaking out that something will eventually go wrong. I think I'll start to feel better when I feel lots of kicks....those are like constant assurances.
@Jabreen fx for you. If it makes you feel better, I had some light brown spotting a couple weeks ago right before my NT ultrasound. All looks good and my midwife wasn't concerned. It lasted a day or two and went away.

@Jabreen Fingers crossed for you that this is just a little inconsequential blip in an otherwise healthy, uneventful pregnancy. I really hope everything ends up being fine.
Thanks guys. I was definitely panicking a bit this morning, but after talking to the nurse, I'm starting to feel more stable. I am pregnant today, and that is a amazing thing. Just need to take each day as it comes
@reesaXden Thanks for checking in! So far, so good. Brown discharge seems to be gone for now, and I realized my next appointment is next week - I keep thinking the 24th is so far away from now! Since the nurse seemed unconcerned, I'm trying to stay positive, too. Not loving the second trimester twinges and aches, but I keep reminding myself they are a sign that things are growing down there.
Glad the brown spotting is gone!! I agree with you, these aches and such sure cause a lot of stress to our PGAL minds! I mentioned something to my husband about being worried and he said "you think a growing baby inside of your body isn't going to be uncomfortable and painful sometimes?! Stop worrying so much!" Its so hard though!
I asked my doctor what he thought about dopplers and he's fine with them so my husband agreed I could get one! Hoping I can find the heartbeat easily because I know there will be a lot of potential stress and panic if not. We also finally told our parents this week, (I made it to 12 weeks on Monday), which was really nice but of course in the back of my head there's a little bit of worry because I know we'll never truly be safe.
How are are you feeling physically and emotionally? Nausea is undercontrol now, I have more energy and feel like my usual self. Emotionally I'm good, I'm feeling excited and hopeful and less and less anxious with each day that goes by.
What is the next milestone you are looking forward to? I'm looking forward to feeling this little one move! My last pregnancy I felt him around 19 weeks.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions? My next appointment is on April 4th, I'm getting an ultrasound before starting makena injections to prevent premature labor. Hopefully I'll get to see the sex.
Is anyone else getting the injections or has anyone gotten them before?
