Kiera or Alexa?

We are down to the top 2 for our second little girl. Middle names are family names. Kee-rah spelling is still up for discussion. Big sis is Ariana. Which would you choose? Thanks!

Kiera Madeleine.

Madelyn is misspelled and looks very cheap. Please don't defile such a lovely name. Just because Y is only SOMETIMES a vowel, doesn't mean we need to throw it pity status. Use it where it belongs only.

Yeah perhaps. This is the original spelling of the name. But i dislike it on the basis that the average person would pronounce it "see-air-a".

Personally i like the "kira" spelling - i had a friend named Kira when i was a little girl. Irish too! So that's the spelling that holds the most idealism for me. But i'm pretty comfortable with any accepted spelling of it.

As long as you don't mind both of your DD's names starting with A.

Thanks everyone! I agree about Ciara, I would love that spelling but no one in America would say it correctly.
The middle names are family names, I will consider the change in spelling though, I know that the "y"'s are unpopular.
I personally don't mind another A baby, but I wonder if others think it sounds like too much?
I appreciate the input :-)
