Testing Plans: Well, I got a BFP this morning! Now I feel bad for bitching so much about my cycle this month. I ovulated late, but it turns out I had good news. Ran out in my slippers to buy 3 more tests, which I'll be taking shortly.. haha
ETA: 3 positive tests total. I guess it's real
R / R / CS: My first reaction this morning was to be terrified (TTCAL and I'm scared it'll happen again). It's a totally different feeling than my first BFP that ended in loss, but I'm still so excited and grateful. Whatever happens will happen. Thank you ladies for all the support - I'm not the most frequent poster, but these boards helped me so much in October and they helped me get excited to try again.
GTKY: If you could live in any video game or movie world, what would it be? My mind is going right to Harry Potter, which definitely isn't the most creative answer but who doesn't love some HP?

R / R / CS: So I've been up since 3:30AM, thank you very much restless puppy. I keep telling DH that it's good practice if things ever work out. I'm already itching to test even though it won't mean anything now. Gotta stay sane and avoid the SS. Also, I'm so nervous about hitting this cycle. If things don't work out, my doctor wants me on Clomid which I'd rather not do but if it's my only choice, I'll do what I have to. Another loss means dealing with an OB/GYN, MFM, and an RE. I'm almost more afraid to get a positive test. I just never expected it to be this hard. Guess it's just going to be one of those days today. DH and I are going to take our puppy on a long walk at the forest preserve so hopefully that helps keep my mind off of things.

R / R / CS: My temp had a huge drop this morning to below the cover line. I know it could still come back up, but more than likely this is it and AF is on her way. Trying not to let it get to me and to stay positive!
On the bright side, if AF does come I just got a new menstrual cup in the mail yesterday (a Skoon cup) and I am so happy! I somehow managed to lose mine over the Christmas holidays (praying I accidentally threw it out while it was wrapped in kleenex during my travels and didn't leave it in some relative's house haha
I'm also headed to my Saturday morning yoga class now, which I really enjoy! So despite the temp drop, I'm hoping for a good day.
GTKY: If you could live in any video game or movie world, what would it be? Hmmm if I'm trying to be creative and could do crazy stuff like move from one place to another by jumping down tunnels and ride Yoshi then I'd live live in Super Mario world. Although @kns1988 HP would probably be my first choice too.

Last cycle I had a short LP (9 days) and this month I was like yay a normal LP. Now I'm on CD 14 with no signs of AF. Yes I know it's crazy to worry but TTC took away my anxiety meds and this is what happens

R / R / CS: Firstly my dad made my cry last night, we had gone out to dinner and in the car ride home he (preface: he's a total sap in his old age and I'm his youngest), told me how I'm the joy of his life, he'll always be a parent first, watching me get married and bloom into such an amazing person (his words not mine) makes him the proudest, happiest a person could be. Having kids was the end all be all for him. Yeah, that broke me. I want that so badly. It hurt to hear almost, despite him coming from a really good place. Second, I don't know what possessed me but I had a dollar store cheapy HPT in my cabinet and took it this AM. No surprise it was a BFN. Not totally bummed because I knew it would be. But ugh ME!

@DiFazette you need to have three elevated temps after 6dpo for it to alert you as possibly triphasic

On top of that, DH and I got in a big fight this morning, so it's only 7:30 and I've already cried twice today. Going to go to the gym and try and sweat this mood out.

R/R/CS: My temp dropped to coverline yesterday. I got home at 1:45 last night (Garth was so good!!) and normally temp at 3:30. I waited until 6:30, thinking that it would be better, but my temp was .7 degrees higher than yesterday! So I adjusted it, which I never do, but the high temp was throwing me off. Cramps today and expecting AF tonight (11 day LP). I'm going to stay in the TWW until I need to officially move.

While I have been stalking daily since last September, I honestly wasn't expecting to begin participating in the WTO/TWW threads until July-is since I just stopped BCP on February 14th after 10 years and DH was deploying shortly after. I figured my body was going to geek out and I wanted to give it time to regulate while he was away, so I wasn't expecting anything remotely resembling ovulation anytime soon. FF is telling me a different story now (which is wonderful!) and if the temps don't suddenly drop or anything, this could be a NTNP TWW for us so I hope it's okay if I join you all this go-around. Even if nothing comes of it, I'll be back later this summer when we can start trying again.

hey ladies- just wanted to say hi.....there is nothing exciting going on over on the Sept board, not really anyways...
@babymish- Hugs to you lady! Sorry to see you still here. I would highly recommend a pre baby bucket list If you don't already have one or weekend get away or date nights. Something to help with the distraction to keep your mind off of it. Also, I really loved my adult coloring book. Hang in there girl....the only way to get there is to keep trying. this journey is such a trial of strength and patience.
@1017Shannon- I would say its probably your body still regulating and I wouldn't put too much stock into any of it. On a side note, it did take me to 15 DPO to get a positive test.....Depending on how you handle BFN's I'd probably wait it out another day or 2.
@houseofsetters- Can you post your chart? How long is your LP?
@mrsdaddario- Your dad sounds JUST like mine!!! Super sappy!! I love him to death, he's the best and my hubby is just like him in so many ways!! But he's so sappy! When we told him we got engaged, he said he was all warm all over.....WTF is that??? gotta love him though....He sent my DH a card this week because DH had been super sick all week last week and I called my dad to complain about what a big baby my DH was being.....and a bad patient too. So my dad sent him a card to tell him he hoped he was feeling better and that they really liked my DH. It was really sweet actually and my DH's dad is no longer with us. My DH said the card was something his dad would have done, so he really appreciated the card from my dad. \
@Rottiemom86- Have you seen or talked to your dr about your long cycles?? Are you able to use OPKS at all to help you have a better understanding of where you might be in your cycles if the temping makes you too anxious? Hope you can find a happy medium!
@juliebeannn- I think we all thought we'd magically be KTFU our first go at it!! completely realistic. When I first was on these boards, I saw all the women testing at 10 DPO and they'd get BFN's and I thought no way could I do that. Well on my 2nd month or 3rd month I had some crazy dream that was super vivid about CM of all things and it was so real, it made me test the next morning at 10 DPO. Negative.....I didn't test again after that ever until the month we got our BFP. Its a journey for sure and trial and error for what works for you!! But the ladies on this board have lots of knowledge to share!! Hang in there!
@Lecool- Sorry about the fight with DH- the gym sounds like the perfect solution!! Do you guys have a pre baby bucket list or can you get away for a weekend? Date night? Adult coloring books were really helpful for me too actually.....Hang in there girl!!

@1017Shannon sorry your cycle is being confusing, maybe your lp will be slightly longer this month. I have seen that for a few ladies on here with random 16 day lps etc. Or maybe it is better news - FX.
@DiFazette I'm not entirely sure but 3 seems to be the general rule with FF. It gave me a "triphasic" chart in December and I have 5 temps on total at the new high level, think it gave me the term a few temps in.

Sorry you are feeling so down @Lecool I have been having those exact same thoughts. In a weird way seeing other women are having those thoughts too makes me realise that its ok and puts things into perspective. Our hormones and emotions put us through all that but it doesnt mean it's true. We just have to keep trucking on
