Just for fun - do your older kids watch any "kids programming" tv shows that drive you nuts? My son is into a bunch of shows, but of all of them, I just don't get "Little Einsteins." It is so strange. Some episodes are actually kind of creepy!
If there's a show that drives me crazy they don't watch it. Haha. Spongebob, caillou, and peppa pig are so annoying. I dont want them imitating those characters
I HATE Little Einsteins!!!! My daughter was obsessed with it for about a week, but thank god for The Land Before Time on Netflix! Now that's all she wants to watch, and it's one of my favorites.
DS1 loves Little Einsteins and so do I. He has learned so much from the show and I really like how interactive it is. He is really into music and instruments since we got it and frequently makes us all pretend we are a band in the evenings (DS2 gets the tambourine).
He also loves Mickey obviously, and we like to encourage Peg and Cat. I recently bought a few Backyardigans DVDs because I love them so much and would like to introduce them soon.
We don't allow Calliou in our house or Max and Ruby because I hate them so much. I don't give my mom a lot of rules or instructions to follow when she has DS1 for a few hours because I trust her completely. The absolute only rule she has is that she is not allowed to put those shows on lol. :
ETA: He was Draco Malfoy for Halloween and insists on keeping the magic wand in his music box because he pretends that it's Leo's baton. He's 2.5 years old.
My son loves Einsteins too--its actually one of the ones I don't mind. All of a sudden he's into PJ Masks??!?! It came out of nowhere and the theme song literally drives me crazy. He likes Peppa Pig which I actually think is adorable. And he has watched Caillou ONCE and ONCE ONLY and it has been banned from our house. Can't stand that whiny little brat lol.
OK I have heard so many people complain about Caillou I now feel the need to watch it while my son's not around just to see what it's all about. I need to figure out if there's any way to screen out shows on Netflix Kids!
I can't stand Ming Ming on wonder pets. His baby talking drives me crazy. I actually like Caillou so we have that on. We usually keep PBS Sprout on for background noise and don't really mind any of the shows. The one show I refuse to put on is Yo Gabba Gabba. It annoys me like no other.

Caillou is a whiney little bitch. All you need to know. Steer clear.

My daughter loves PJ Masks! She regularly saves Owlette and Gecko (she pretends she's Catboy).

@chein1 YESSSSS! Dying!!! And is it just me, or did PJ Masks pop out nowhere? All of a sudden my son is running around the house singing this song and I'm like WTF where is that song from? I called another mom friend and she's like its on Disney Jr, and its on demand lol. And just like that, I have him occupied so I can do something other than chase him around the house pretending to be the joker to his batman. Oh, and Catboy is his fave too!!!
I frequently have my nephews over (5yrs and 3yrs)- the big hits are Paw Patrol, Sid the Science Kid, Super Why, Bubble Guppies and now they're into transformers. They love ninja turtles but then started acting out and "play" fighting (still rough though with each other) so when they're over they are not allowed to watch it.

Right?! Literally out of nowhere! I came home from work one day and my daughter is talking about Connor and Greg, and I was like Mom, who are these boys?! Haha
