R/R/CS- 99% sure I ovulated yesterday...I had fertile CM for like 6 days before hand and then my temp went up almost a half a degree this morning, after a glorious night of full sleep (yay for DD sleeping through the night again). We missed the FW, but I'm cool with it...I leave for vacation Tuesday and I'm going to drink ot my heart's content.
GTKY - (from 2WW) - what's the oldest thing you own? I have a beautiful antique pearl necklace that belonged to my great great grandmother, and also a large topaz cocktail ring that belonged to my great grandmother. Being the oldest daughter of the oldest daughter on that side has its perks!
R/R/CS- I had a big temp spike this morning after getting a positive OPK and ferns yesterday, but I have a cold so I don't know if it's reliable. My CM doesn't line up, and CP has been high and soft for a week now, plus I had a positive OPK 5 days ago so I don't know what my body is doing. I just looked and I still have ferning today, but a bit smaller. This microscope thing is brand new to me. I also felt cramps on my left for almost 24 hours yesterday and the day before so I'm hoping that yesterday was O day. Trying not to get my hopes up too much. We will see what my temps do over the next few days...
GTKY - My violin was made in 1906, my house in 1926, and my sewing machine in 1939. I love my sewing machine. It's a little Singer Featherweight. I learned to see on an old Singer and I have no idea how to use a modern machine.
@teamginger13 Sorry about the fever. Good luck with your IUI!!!
@HurricaneAmelia Sorry about your MIL visiting. That sounds stressful and no fun
@BerkeBaby I don't see why you couldn't keep TTC AND exercise and lose weight, but do whatever feels right for you. Sorry your doctor is so insensitive
WAYDTGKU- my acupuncturist added some herbs on top of all of the other stuff this round. The B12 in one of them is making me wild.
R/R/CS- I'm very impatient this month and feel like I'm bursting with energy. Not sure if it's the new vitamin/herb regimen or that I've dialed down my weekly running mileage and pace (again). I am annoyed that the thing that is causing me to stress (TTC) is the thing preventing me from my favorite method of de-stress (running far). Gr.
GTKY - (from 2WW) - what's the oldest thing you own? My engagement and wedding rings are estate — not from my family, we bought them. I like to think about who may have owned them before me. Engagement setting is ~1920s, the center stone is believed to be a bit older based on its cut. We're a little light on the family heirlooms. I also collect vintage glassware and I have some champagne "flutes" (the stems are silver, it was before glass stems were a thing) that may be a bit older than the ring.
WAYDTGKU: bleeding my uterus dry so I can start over
R/R/CS: nothing to rant about besides the terrible cramping I'm having today. I had a stomach flu earlier this week and I am still experiencing some gastrointestinal side effects so Idk what's what anymore.
GTKY: My engagement ring is antique - from 1900/1910 ish. Also, my grandma and her sister were very into antiques and jewelry. Both are gone now (very much missed), but my mother has made certain that I've received some of the fruits of their labor to remember them by. I have two really nice pieces and quite a few costume pieces and I love them all.

I also have some beautiful Tatting that she did. Tatting is truly a lost art form and I'd love to learn it someday. I knit and sew, so it's next om the lost. @GhanimaAtreides *TMI* 2-a-days makes my vag hurt in sympathy! Lol! We had a crazy sex schedule last month (that ended in failure), but I also noticed that the last few days in the rotation (because I had 12 days of fertile CM, we HIO'd like 9 days straight and had a 2x day in there as well), DH's semen texture got really weird, so I'm blaming that as the reason why I didn't get KTFU. It seriously turned into thick jellyfish globs. Hope you're not eating right now! But I think it got weird because we were having sex too frequently, so I'm trying to ease up on the schedule this month. It's all been normal so far. *shrug*
@MrsDho11 how are you liking acupuncture? I had my appointment yesterday and I do think I felt better immediately afterwards.
@BerkeBaby oh my gosh, you have done so much hard work already! I'm sorry your doc made you feel badly. I don't see a reason to TTA, but definitely stay on the healthy eating/exercise train! I've kind of moved into a mindset of "I'm not in control, and it will happen when it's meant to happen -- and if it doesn't, then we'll see an RE." I still have 5-6 more months before I make an RE appointment, so I'm trying not to put so much pressure on myself emotionally. *hugs*
@Kristen627 my acupuncturist started me on herbs too -- I'm not sure how I feel about them yet or if they'll actually do anything for me. Sorry you can't run as much as you would like. Have you tried adult coloring books? Maybe that would help you get out extra energy?
@MissAmeliaPond - I've only been once-- my second appointment is Saturday. I really liked it though-- I found it to be very relaxing. Though that could have to do with being left in a dark room with soothing music for half an hour too!

so since I have no idea what my body is doing and I had a bunch of wondfos I peed on an OPK and pregnancy test. OPK has a line the same color as control. Pregnancy has a line a little more faint then the control. Thoughts?bad batch maybe? Thanks for your opinions ladies
You can have more than one LH surge in your cycle and it does not necessarily indicate ovulation. If you got a positive on a HPT, congratulations!!
Y'all, I'm so sorry I've been posting and running and unable to respond to everyone. The app is being terrible lately, so I haven't been able to post except on lunch break and before/after work.
Month/Cycle: 2/1
CD: 46
WAYDTGKU: Right now, I am on day 3 of taking progesterone to induce a period and hopefully have a normal cycle. I'm also taking metformin, trying to lose weight (by trying, I mean working out maybe 2 days a week and not eating ice cream every night. Progress not perfection), and charting all the things.
R/R/CS: I'm happy to be only the progesterone and hopefully making progress soon. The progesterone makes me feel like I have PMS, so I'm really tired, grumpy, hot, and crampy. SO that's awesome.
GTKY: The center diamond in my engagement ring, probably. It was DH's great grandmother's. I'm not sure how old it is exactly, but it's certainly old.

If you have a line on the HPT it sounds like you're pregnant!!! Congratulations! I'd double check with a digital. Actually, if it was me I would check with like 5 different brands, but that's a little overboard.
OPKs pick up hCG at higher levels because of the similar structure of hCG and LH (hCG tests don't pick up LH as they are designed to be more specific), so if you are pregnant it would make sense that the OPK is showing up positive too.

@Shwee25 & @zrain thanks so much for your advice (especially clarifying the OPK positive). I'm going to test tonight (maybe tomorrow morning if I don't explode first) with a digital. FX! one more question (I'm obviously bad at tests - that was actually the first one I have ever taken).. should I wait until morning for a digital so its not diluted or is it sensitive enough even if I'm full of water? Thanks!
WAYDTGP- OPK, trying to find ways to DTD without pressuring DH
R/R/CS- Just started OPK this cycle. Was happy to see smiley face two days ago, DTD same day and tried again yesterday. DH was unable to seal the deal, feels pressured. Frustrated with not being able to talk about ovulation/babies/or anything related cause I will scare his penis! Turns out I can't initiate after he's eaten (even if it's been hours) cause he gets upset stomach. Seriously. We don't DTD often as it is which doesn't help. He feels really bad but I know it isn't his fault. Everyone around me seems to be getting KU by accident! In a mental funk today.
GTKY - (from 2WW) - what's the oldest thing you own? I think the oldest thing I have is actually not that old lol the only thing I can think of are my dad's softball jerseys from when he used to play. They are probably about 20 years old
@GhanimaAtreides & everyone else in the group - sorry if it was weird for the BFP in the group. I've been hanging here the last 31 days as I was convinced I haven't O'd yet and I'm still not all together convinced so you may see me posting CD 32 here tomorrow. FX I don't but either way. I was super confused about he situation and since I was here anyway figured I'd ask. I didn't know it was possible to turn a HPT and OPK the same time
@kristah2 When I had my BFP with my loss in October, I hadn't noticed any EWCM and did not have even a faint second line on a WONDFO OPK until I had my BFP. For some reason I still don't understand, OPKs don't work for everyone!! It sounds like you're knocked up to me or the OPK would not be registering with the HPT!! Congratulations!!!
@zrain awww, I'm so glad you're going to get the violin out today! I don't play professionally (I'm not made for the cut throat music industry, probably shoulda considered that when choosing my majors) but I play at my church and some other local churches all the time. I love it!
HAHA @GhanimaAtreides and @kristah2I am loving the BFP in the WTO thread....seeing BFP's gives me hope so it's always exciting! And I'm sorry about that bitch plummeting as far as your temp goes. ,GhanimaA!
OK everyone. I think I'm going to still keep DVRing Rattled but I'm just going to fast forward through all the couples except the quads. And yay to them getting their own show! Although that always makes me a little nervous...they seem like really super nice people on Rattled and we all know what happened to Jon and Kate...ugh. So maybe I'll watch their show! I agree with all y'all--these people are just too crazy to stress myself out over. lol.

@MissAmeliaPond I forgot to say thank you for taking the time to warn me about the liquification issue you experienced with the intense HIO schedule! It looks like the kinase protein and proteolytic enzymes interact to get the semen to gel shortly after ejactulation so it sticks up in the vaginal tract longer before succumbing to gravity. It can cause issues with SA/TTC if it doesn't liquefy in about 20-25 minutes and H's did that for the home SA, but that was before the uptick in HIO. I read keeping hydrated can mitigate and H pounds 3 liters a day.
@kristah2 No worries! I'm rooting for you. Stranger things have happened... like someone in my last BMB went for her initial OB appointment and had 4 months shaved off her EDD because she had light periods early on. Bodies are weird.
@kristah2 Yay!!!! OMG! So so excited for you!!! This is why I bump, to hear good news like this! ;) <img title="Image: https://media.giphy.com/media/dkGhBWE3SyzXW/giphy.gif" src="https://media.giphy.com/media/dkGhBWE3SyzXW/giphy.gif" alt="" height="375" width="500">
WAYDTGKU- sex, CM, eating healthier, working out, quit smoking
R/R/CS- dealing with cramps when AF is no longer here is extremely frustrating
GTKY - (from 2WW) - what's the oldest thing you own? My wedding rings are from my Great Great Grandmother from early 1900's that were passed down to me from my father. I have restored them but I wouldn't have it any other way, I love them and feel honored to have them. They are a tad too big but the jewelers have advised not to cut them because of being heirlooms so I just wear a sizer even though they suck and are frustrating!
HUGS TO ALL THAT NEED THEM!!!! @kristah2 Congratulations!!!!!!
R/R/CS- I'm anxious DH will get spooked now that we're officially going to be trying. He already expressed he wants to go along as though things are the same as when I was on BC but he also pays close attention to my body and will notice things like EWCM. Anyway, it's still early and I'm learning a great deal of patience and release from the boards.
GTKY - (from 2WW) - what's the oldest thing you own?
A stuffed bunny my mom gave me after I broke my ankle in the 7th grade. I cuddle with it whenever I'm unbelievably sick.
@GhanimaAtreides that was a much more scientific explanation that I was able to provide. Ha. I asked DH about his water consumption and he claimed it was "a lot", but apparently not enough! So this might be more TMI, but the thick jellyfish rubber band stuff was just coming out immediately and not "sticking around" like it was supposed to be doing. Worthless!
@kristah2 What an amazing surprise! After thinking you were having an anovulatory cycle!!! So cray! H & H 9!!

OPKs pick up hCG at higher levels because of the similar structure of hCG and LH (hCG tests don't pick up LH as they are designed to be more specific), so if you are pregnant it would make sense that the OPK is showing up positive too.

one more question (I'm obviously bad at tests - that was actually the first one I have ever taken).. should I wait until morning for a digital so its not diluted or is it sensitive enough even if I'm full of water?

They are probably about 20 years old
So I thought my temp was going to be up today? Nope. That bitch just plummeted.
HAHA @GhanimaAtreides and @kristah2 I am loving the BFP in the WTO thread....seeing BFP's gives me hope so it's always exciting!
I agree with all y'all--these people are just too crazy to stress myself out over. lol.

@kristah2 No worries! I'm rooting for you. Stranger things have happened... like someone in my last BMB went for her initial OB appointment and had 4 months shaved off her EDD because she had light periods early on. Bodies are weird.
Thanks- love it!

@kristah2 Congratulations!!!!!!

WAYDTGKU-OPKs, eating better, exercising
R/R/CS- I'm anxious DH will get spooked now that we're officially going to be trying. He already expressed he wants to go along as though things are the same as when I was on BC but he also pays close attention to my body and will notice things like EWCM. Anyway, it's still early and I'm learning a great deal of patience and release from the boards.

A stuffed bunny my mom gave me after I broke my ankle in the 7th grade. I cuddle with it whenever I'm unbelievably sick.
@kristah2 What an amazing surprise! After thinking you were having an anovulatory cycle!!! So cray! H & H 9!!
