I honestly have no idea if our little guy is head down right now or not? I haven't had an ultrasound since November and don't know when I will get another one. Just curious if anyone has any tips/secrets on how to figure out if he is or not??
When she has hiccups i feel them towards my lower back since her head is down and my placenta is at the front. When she kicks its always in the mid or upper belly so that's another indicator. Hope that helps!
My OB told me at my appt two weeks ago that she was head down, and then proceeded to squeeze my belly to "see" where she was positioned. Pretty sure that was more painful than when they pushed on my belly after labor. It was worth it though because she pointed a lot out.
I've been having a lot of hip pain and the OB thought this might be why I was having so much pain.
The kicks are at the top or side of my belly. When she was breeched, it felt like scratching in the lower part of my uterus, now there is pressure. U/s confirmed yesterday that she's flipped head down.
My midwife palpates the baby (feels her through my uterus) at every appointment. She can feel her head down low, trace her back up and feet her little butt. Also, all the big movements I feel are above my belly button, her heartbeat is below my belly button and hiccups are felt down in my pelvis.
3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3) - #3 due March 30!
My dr. Thinks baby is breech. Baby hb was found above my belly button with the Doppler at my appt today. I feel alot of movement way low. I had a cervix check today too. Dr couldn't feel baby's head like he should be able to at 33+3. I have an us in two weeks to confirm position
I know mine is transverse because of where I feel her hiccups and kicks. I can feel her head and butt and know where she's at most of the time
Yes my boy has been transverse/ oblique for about a month now too. It's quite fun because when he is towards the anterior part of my uterus, I can literally "hold" him in my hands - one hand on the head, the other one on them bum. Love it! Although today he was doing some broad rolling movements and now I am feeling lots of kicks (or punches or whatever) on my cervix and pelvis, so I am wondering whether he moved. I will check again when I get home.
Baby has been head down for me (doctor palpated and then confirmed by ultrasound) but what I've noticed is the hiccups are really low most of the time (the odd time was on the side which made me worry he'd flipped) and I feel a lot of movement at the top and sides of my uterus. I'll feel his bum pushing out at the top and then stretches coming from the sides.
My doctors has been telling me head down based on where they are finding heart tones. At my 30 week appointment he didn't want to press around too much (since she was still a bit small to tell just by gentle touch) because it would have been too uncomfortable for me. But the heart tones keep being heard down low, and based on what other ladies are saying, I think it confirms it. Big movements are always to the top right of my belly button, just below my rib cage, where as the "tickling" motions that may be wiggling of little hands are always way down low in my pelvis. Also, I'm having a LOT of pelvic joint pain, which I'm assuming is from her head pushing down on the bones.

I like the feeling of having her in my hands too I just hope when she decides to turn that it's head down

update: my boy is still transverse. He seems to love this position. To be honest I like it too - he doesn't push on my bladder, stomach or kink my bowels anymore. He does kick me in the cervix some times though, but thankfully not often.
@rebelone my baby is breech also, I'm not sure which of the 3 positions though. They didn't tell me and I neglected to ask. The Dr keeps telling me I have plenty of time for baby to turn though. Fingers crossed our babies decide they want to hang out upside down for a bit!
Yesterday morning his head was on my left side based on the OB appointment and Doppler.... But night his head was on my right side... What a little fliparoo!

My baby is Frank breech. I found a nice picture what that looks like, which hasn't been very good for taking face pictures.
I read more on frank breech and the rare potential for hip dysplasia.
Very rare, but still.
It's a boy! Grow baby, grow! EDD: 4/22/2016
