  • How are you ladies doing?!? I'm doing alright. Very tired and super stressed as I've started a new temporary role at work and am taking a course in the evenings.

    How far along? 9w2d

How owe are you feeling? Nauseous all day but not everyday (thankfully). This past week I've also started throwing up sometimes. I'm very tired. All I want to do is sleep but I have to work and my course so it's a struggle.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? First midwife appointment tomorrow!! I'm getting nervous but am excited.

As we are getting further along, I know many of us have hit or are approaching "the number" of which we lost our last babies.
Did passing it provide any relief? What have you been doing when the stress seems overwhelming?
My last loss was at 16 weeks after we'd told everyone and thought we were out of the woods. I still have 7 weeks to go till I hit that mark and don't know if I'll be able to relax then. I had a dream a couple of weeks ago where I gave birth to a healthy child. This is the first time I've ever had a dream like that so I'm hoping it's a good omen.

How owe are you feeling? Tired and nauseous. I've had a few bad headaches as well.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? My next appointment is Friday and I'm so ready to hear the heartbeat again.

My due date with our loss was Monday. It was hard and I cried and journaled but I do feel like it provided some relief. I will always think about our loss baby and wonder what if but I am so very thankful for this pregnancy.

  • How are you ladies doing?!?

Good.  Really good, actually.  This is the calmest and most stable I've been in ages, surprisingly.  I can't explain it, but I'm not going to complain.

I even passed the point of stopping my progesterone/estrogen supplements (precautionary since we did IVF) without panicking.

    How far along?

    10+4 today.

    How are are you feeling?

I seem to be having almost a unicorn pregnancy, aside from reflux and migraines.  I feel a little guilty about how good I feel, actually, plus it makes the whole thing feel sort of unreal, which I don't like.

    Rants/Raves/Randoms?

I feel like the first trimester is never going to end.  It's so close but it just feels like I'm never going to get there.

As we are getting further along, I know many of us have hit or are approaching "the number" of which we lost our last babies.
Did passing it provide any relief? What have you been doing when the stress seems overwhelming?

I lost my previous pregnancy early (it was a late CP), so I passed "the number" weeks ago.  It did calm my nerves, but I was still incredibly nervous at every ultrasound until I was released to my OB and had my first ultrasound with him.  Somehow that eased my mind, especially since the babies were moving around quite a bit and are clearly growing with every scan.

I've been looking at my ultrasound printouts and reminding myself of how much they've grown (they look like little tiny gummy bear babies now, not blobs!) and doing a lot of praying (and thanking God for what I have).  I know not everyone is religious and I don't mean to offend those that aren't, but it's just what I've been doing that's been helping me.
