hi ladies, I requested my betas to be taken about a week ago - my HCG was 1844 but my progesterone was only 8.4. My doctor had me start progesterone immediately. Four days later my HCG was in the 3600's - it didn't double daily like she was hoping. I had a sonogram yesterday and the doctor was pleasantly surprised. There was something in there - a sack and a fetal pole (and it was hard to tell for sure but maybe even a heart beat). She was concerned that it could have been an empty sac or an ectopic pregnancy. However, it's measuring small... Like 5+ weeks when I thought I was 6+. She wants me to continue the progesterone and come back in 2 weeks. She thinks the odds are 60/40...40 being good. Does anyone have any advice or experience? Thank you!

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
