Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Exercise more....with the blizzard last week I stayed in bed, read and watched netflix all day
It was heaven. as far as nutrition goes I did really well!
Any challenges you're facing this week? At this point in my cycle I get really nauseated and fatigued. Really excited about getting a referral to a thyroid endo so hopefully my meds will be adjusted if needed. (and I think they do need to be).
How did you do with your goals last week? I did ok. did some yoga. Ate a fairly low sugar diet. I'm disappointed that I only lost 1lb but slow and steady is good as long as there is some progress.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment would be buying a house at age 21. My parents and I moved around alot as a kid so having my own place to call home and not having to move every year was #1 on my priority list when i moved out. I worked 2-3 jobs since I was 18 and busted my behind for it and it was so so worth it. It's a modest home but it's mine!HSG - All clear, ectopic kidney didn't affect uterus (yay!)

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week?
Eat cleaner, starting working out (get the remaining motorcycle parts out of my gym space).
Any challenges you're facing this week?
My insane (alcoholic, abusive) ex made a veiled threat through facebook that he was coming into town (lives about 20 hours away, has NO reason to come here). It's freaking me out and making me want to be more of hermit than I normally am. It's also got me off my wanting to eat right/work out plan.
How did you do with your goals last week?
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?Husband's motorcycle parts are still on my bench, and all over my gym. He's been told to move them or I will.
Being able to give my dad the medal and write up I earned when I got out of the military. Spent all my time in Intel, saved many lives, did a lot of things my family had no idea about (obviously for good reason). To me it was just my work, but it made my dad really proud. I just wish my grandpa could have read it before he died.

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Just keep going with strength and cardio 5 days a week and keep to my caloric goals.
Any challenges you're facing this week? It's really hard to stick to the caloric goals some days. Damn you, wine.
How did you do with your goals last week? Really well. I think a 2 lb loss over a week is pretty good.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? I graduated law school magna cum laude and was the student speaker at graduation. That was pretty cool.

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week?
I honestly haven’t really set any yet. I quickly planned meals yesterday so I guess stick to those as well as gym at least 4 times.
Any challenges you're facing this week?
Still getting over a cold. And I’ve been feeling overall crummy.
How did you do with your goals last week?
Between being sick and the weather last week was a little rough
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?
This is super lame but I’m proud that both DH and I have 401Ks and have had them set up for awhile!
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week?
I keep forgetting to weigh myself...
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week?
Pilates MWF
Any challenges you're facing this week?
Getting over a bad cold - I'm not going to want to work out
How did you do with your goals last week?
I got sick on Tuesday (had a fever that night) and I'm still getting over it, so I only worked out Monday last week
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment?Graduating college in 3.5 years with a physics degree. Or getting an A in quantum mechanics. I guess those are related.
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week? Previous: 193/ Current: 189. Goal: 147-150 lbs
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Hitting up the gym, even though I will be distracted by being off from work for bereavement and being insanely busy trying to get lesson plans ready for my substitute.
Any challenges you're facing this week? Being off from work is always a challenge. I'm also worried that I won't have any weight loss this week after such a big jump last week.
How did you do with your goals last week? Excellent. I made it to the gym and kept myself in check with eating.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? I graduated from undergrad with a 3.8 GPA and worked full time while I got my master's degree. It's pretty lame, but neither of my parents went to college and I got my bachelor's and master's degrees in the same amount of time it took most of my classmates to get their bachelor's degree. I'm also really proud to have paid off quite a bit of debt. DH and I will be debt-free very soon!Nice work everyone who's posted so far!
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week?
Down 8.8 pounds total/2.6 pounds this week. Short term goal is to be down 30 pounds total; long-term goal is to be down 60.
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Fitness goal is to get to the gym 4 times this week. Nutrition goal is to stick to my meal plan and make sure that I am getting enough healthy, whole foods.
Any challenges you're facing this week? Nephew's birthday party with pizza on Sunday will be a bit tough. Also had kind of a messy weekend so I'm not quite as caught up with meal planning and food shopping as I would like to be.
How did you do with your goals last week? Pretty good. Calorie wise I did very well. However it was a pretty busy week/weekend and I relied on prepackaged foods instead of whole foods I made myself more than I would like.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Probably getting my law degree.Married 7/15
BFP #2 2/18/16
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week? I feel optimistic. Cold is gone and I have plans to hit the gym 5 days this week.
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Gym Mon thru Thurs and Saturday. Nutrition goals are largely the same: limit wine to about twice a week, eat healthy lunches.
Any challenges you're facing this week? Party Saturday night, but that should be it.
How did you do with your goals last week? Meh. I missed the gym Tuesday and Wednesday and did a low impact, easy workout on Thursday due to my cold.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Even though I don't use it and it cost way too much and I kind of wish I didn't get it because of the loan amounts, I'm super proud of my masters degree. I was the first person in my family to get one, I paid for it myself and I worked my ass off for it.LFAF April Siggy: TV/Movie BFFs

Question for you lovely ladies:
Has anyone had any success getting DH to lose weight? I neeeeed advice!
I meal plan and pack him healthy lunches but I can’t seem to get him onboard to make healthy alternatives or actually put any effort into losing weight.

Anyway, some of the recipes i'd suggest you start with if you have a picky hubby and just try them out and see what you both think are:
THM Fakertot Casserole
THM Lazy Lasagna
THM Cheeseburger soup
If you like those, then they have a cookbook and also tons of free recipes online.

His dad was diagnosed with Type II diabetes a few years ago and has managed it really well by losing weight and running every day. Not even that has kick started him.
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week? I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately. My weight has been the same for two weeks, which is unusual for me, since I've been routinely eating at the same deficit for 9 months and losing a couple pounds a week. Boo
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? I'm gearing up for spring 5k's, so I'm trying to run as much as possible to increase my time and endurance.
Any challenges you're facing this week? Stress eating because of the scale not moving... Vicious cycle!
How did you do with your goals last week? Fine. Diet was decent. Exercise was great.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Living a successful, happy life with my husband. My parents didn't approve of us getting married because they thought we fought too much (we did lol, but we were madly in love and knew we could learn and grown together) and that he wouldn't be able to provide for me (DH had a crappy physical labor job at the time). My dad literally said "I'll be surprised if you make it past the first year." We celebrated our 4th anniversary in October, DH has a fantastic job, where he is HIGHLY valued, we just built a brand new house in 2014, and we could not be happier. This Christmas, my parents both congratulated us on our success. They tearfully admitted that they were wrong about us and said they were very grateful to have DH in our family. It was a good day.
As for workouts, there's super fun TV based ones you could try with him. That way he doesn't have to go to the gym if he feels uncomfortable about it and he can watch TV while he does it. https://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/workouts-that-allow-you-to-watch-an-ungodly-amount-of-tel

@Thea519 Thank you, you are so right. That is sort of the approach I have been taking, brag to him about my little accomplishments and how healthy a dinner is, etc. and hope that it leads to him wanting to do the same. One problem I face is my weight lose goal is about 10 pounds vs. the 30+ that he could stand to lose so I get excited about small increments that may not be noticeable to him.
@PeggyOlsonFTWThat is a good idea and I guess something I didn’t even realize I’ve been doing. Since Jan.1 I started making him not only lunches but also breakfasts that aren’t sugar-filled granola bars. I don't think he minds being at the gym once he is there, he just doesn't make it a priority to go.
Thanks ladies!

I skipped a run. I did get out the mini stair stepper and walked on that as I watched TV while skipping my run. It could have been worse.

There are a few, but most recently, I was most proud of completing my first marathon. I went from not running at all to completing a full marathon in 13 months.

Any challenges you're facing this week?
At my appointment Thursday, the doc diagnosed me with Pcos and asked a lot of questions about my weight history. Told her I was off BC in 2010-2011 and had normal monthly cycles. I was 145-150 then, am 165 now. She said she's seen a lot of women who gain 10-15 lbs and Pcos systems flare up. Also, Pcos can make it harder to lose weight. This explains a lot, because I work out 3-4 days/week and eat well 80% of the time and the weight just won't budge. So, my goal is to be super strict with my eating by eating well 95% of the time with veggies, fruits and lean proteins. Low fat dairy and grains like granola are ok occasionally. One cheat meal a week is allowed IF I have a craving. Didn't have cravings last week, so I just stayed the course.
I know losing the weight won't guarantee the return of regular cycles, and I'm starting ovulation induction with an RE anyway, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help myself along. I knew I could stand to lose 10-15 lbs (can't most women?), but had no idea those few lbs could affect my fertility.
How did you do with your goals last week? Great! Didn't even have a cheat day.

Hmmm...probably the purchase of our home. We want to update the kitchen and bathrooms, but the layout is perfect. It's a pretty sweet pad, if I do say so myself. Good schools, great swim/tennis neighborhood with lots of fun family activities (they do fireworks on July 4 and bring in reindeer for Christmas. It's like the Cleavers or whatever).

Proud accomplishment? Other than being down 6 pounds and being super motivated lots of things. Bought new furniture for our house. It's so comfortable. In love with it. Also we just booked our "yearly vacation" to going out east several places... Visiting family. My husband is from new york so we are doing DC and rest of time staying with his aunt in NYC and visiting the city for my first time.
Current Weight/Goal Weight (If you weigh yourself). OR how are you feeling this week? Too much/150
Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? I'm not sure if a new goal will help at this point, so I'm going to stick with continuing to increase my steps and only eating junk once a week.
Any challenges you're facing this week? Other than stressing over the fact that I have school starting in two weeks and I have yet to get my reimbursement check from work so I can buy my books. Nope. Nothing. Just stress eating over here.
How did you do with your goals last week? Good! Kept my junking to once/one day and increased my steps! Went from about, what, 5k steps or something a day? to about 8k. And had one day where I worked the floor and walked 23k steps, so. Progress.
GTKY: What is your proudest accomplishment? Honestly, it would be getting my step-son to where he is now in life. When his birth-mother had physical custody of him, he was missing every day of school, misbehaving, hitting classmates/teachers/bus drivers, and just generally being a bad kid. It took less than a week of us having him full time (finally) for him to start calming down and getting better. He's still a bit behind in English because that's what he kept missing every time she had to pick him up from school, but he's doing so freaking good -- this whole school year he's gotten nothing but 94 or 100 on his spelling tests. It's a huge improvement since he couldn't read at all when we got him last year! But he's gotten student of the month twice, he got bus rider of the year, and he got a "most improved" award last year as well. He's more outgoing (albeit still shy; which I kinda like, because the world is crazy and I don't want him talking to strangers), he's so much more confident, he has friends now... It's crazy how much a kid can change if you just change his primary environment. Being with us on weekends wasn't enough to make up for the crazy at her house.Me: 30 | DH: 34 | DSS: 14 | DS: 4
