Do not buy from Direct Buy Baby

I ordered my crib back in September and I am still fighting to get my crib.  They said it would take 10-12 weeks right now we are at 15 weeks with no delivery date scheduled.  The free delivery option also is for "Curb Side" delivery, which means someone needs to unload the truck.  So I essentially need to have 2 people other than me home to unload the truck.  They also charged the credit card immediately for this purchase.  Every time I talk to someone they tell me different things.  It has been terribly frustrating.  I have 11 weeks to go and I am not confident I will get my crib on time.  Mommies save yourself the frustration and stay away from Direct Buy Baby.  They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.  They have no clue what's going on.

  • Cant you cancel the order and get your money refunded since its been so long and you still have not received it ? That's what I would try and do.
  • I was under the impression it was illegal for them to charge your card prior to shipping the item?  Unless you had agreed on a deposit.  I would definitely be getting tough with them, threaten to contact the BBB, contact your credit card company and find out your options, etc.
