This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.

Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this especially long journey we call "infertility".

Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appt is and what for.

I think I forgot to check in last week. I am 21 weeks now. I had my monthly OB appointment today, met a midwife I haven't seen yet so that was nice. I heard little mans heartbeat. It is the best sound ever. ❤️ I am so in love.

24 weeks tomorrow! Time is flying! I'll be on mat leave in 3 months and I just can't wait! Things are just really busy with my work and now my property manager announced to me today that he's leased my office as of Feb 1st...WTF?! So anyway, we're figuring that out, but I emphasized how he shouldn't be stressing out a pregnant lady. So I should know by Wednesday whether he's been able to get everything figured out so I can keep my office for the next two months. And I'm in the middle of putting an offer for a post mat leave office (long term, I was renting pretty much by the month now).

We've been buying lots of baby stuff (I think my husband thinks I'm a little out control though). We chose the paint color for the nursery yesterday and painting will be happening next weekend. Then getting the carpets cleaned the following, and we just learned today we'll be able to have our furniture delivered whenever we want now as it just arrived. So likely will delay that til the end of the month when everything is painted and cleaned.

Debating now whether we'll be getting a 3D ultrasound. It's not covered by our insurance as it's more entertainment than anything, so it'd be about $150. Has STM who have done one before?

I will be 18 weeks on Wednesday! Time is certainly flying by!!

Got the results back from my genetic testing - 1:5000 for Down's syndrome and trisomy 18.

This week I am working on refinishing my dresser (it was my moms when she was a kid, then passed down to me, and now being passed down to our child).

Our anatomy scan is scheduled for January 27th!! We find out if we are having a boy or girl then.. Very exciting times

I'm 20 weeks and feeling all sorts of movement and loving it! ❤️ Had our a/s on Friday and it was nice seeing baby boy for an hour. He was being very stubborn though so we didn't get a great profile shot besides him kissing my placenta. The tech had me turning every which way to get him to move but it wasn't helping much. She got what she needed though.

I'm 25 weeks now. And I agree that the time is flying! Everything is going well. Going for the glucose test this week. Hope that comes out ok. Doing the baby moon next weekend and looking forward to getting away for a few days. Still working on the nursery. Still working on my sewing and quilting projects. Looking forward to the 25th when I can see my baby girl again. Bet she's gotten so big. Can't believe I'm just a few weeks away from my third trimester! It's still pretty surreal to me. I feel so blessed. ❤️

Hello everyone it is my last check in for the second trimester  but I will save all of you seats in the 3rd Trimester check in

I see the MFM again next week and hopefully will have a plan about which hospital to deliver at and perhaps a C-section date, he mentioned 37 weeks for a set date.

Hey ladies !! Hope it's ok that I post here (still in the IF group ) ..but I came on to see how you ladies are doing . I recognize many of you from the IF boards from months back . It is so encouraging to see how yall are doing .. you give me hope ! It's also nice to see people staying in touch after the IF board . So happy for you all and wishing you all happy pregnancies !!!

@AdorkablePixie I've been doing pretty good actually ! In the middle of IVF .. Had my egg retrieval last week and am doing my first frozen transfer in early March ! I am so excited and nervous !! But thinking I am going to be over here come March .. Thinking positive

Eek how exciting you are having a little boy !! I love little men !!

Lol. Totally missed checking in this week. Got a violent stomach virus and ended throwing up repeatedly on a subway platform while everyone stared. Fabulous. Sigh. Baby boy is great tho and I get to see him at my initial anatomy scan on Monday. I'm nervous that it goes well, but really excited to see him and know for sure that all is still going great.
