Hello everybody!
I'm just quickly putting this week's thread up... I have to put a fire out on my job this morning. How is everybody doing?
QOTW: What is your birth order ( ex: 2nd of for siblings, only child, etc). Were you treated differently because of it?
Married for 7 years, TTC for 4 years

I had my HSG on Friday and my tubes are clear!!! I cried tears of joy lol. I went back in this morning to re-do my Prolactin level after fasting. I should have the new Prolactin level and my AMH results back.
QOTW: I'm the middle child. I have an older sister and a younger sister. I don't feel like I was treated any differently, but I was definitely the textbook middle child. I acted and was rebellious for attention, and was pretty much a pain in my parent's ass haha.

QOTW: I'm the oldest. My mom always babied my brother since he was the youngest

I was officially cleared by the RE to get off the bench. I am cd 7, WTO. Though the last week I've been having some pretty serious anxiety with some strong panic attacks (caused by things unrelated to ttc) that when they come on it makes me never want to have kids - so that's making this cycle tricky to say the least.
I am the youngest of three. I am also the only girl. I don't think I was treated differently because of it.
BFP1 12/24/14 - EDD 09/07/15 (D/C 8w1d)

Qotw: I'm the youngest of two. My brother is 6 years older. We were treated the same growing up I'm guessing because of the age difference it wasn't much of rivalry.

QOTW: I am the youngest of 3. I don't feel like I was treated different. I got hand me downs and my brother and I gang up on our older sister which I think is pretty normal.
Well, I had a long cycle last month, 32 days. That's 2 months in a row of that. On CD 6 right now. Hoping for my regular 26 day this month as hubby will be traveling for work during my peak O days
QOTW... I was the 3rd out of 3. I'm the baby and I love it. I got treated way differently, was given responsibilities way before my other sisters (not that they were wanted). I also learned from their mistakes. I am in a loving relationship, they both just got divorced. I am the only college graduate. I guess they showed me what not to do, so I always thought things through more. I do love them though, they are my best friends. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Not too many symptoms right now besides dry mouth and throat (super thirsty) and a bit backed up
I also woke up this morning to a glorious chain of zits along my jaw. Same thing happened last cycle around this time. Maybe from the progesterone?
QOTW - I am the oldest of 7. 2 full siblings and 4 half siblings. I don't know that I was necessarily treated differently but I definitely feel the need to take care of everybody.
DX: PCOS
IUI #1, Nov 2016 - BFN
IUI #2, Jan 2017 - BFN
IVF #1, Feb 2017 - 22 eggs retrieved, 18 fertilized, 14 Day-5 blasts to freeze
FET #1, Feb 2018 -
I started the fitness class I signed up for with my sister and it kicked my butt! Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight!
I'm on day 17 with no signs of ovulation. My dr had me stop the Clomid to work on medical issues before the first IUI (planned for May/June or sooner if all is well!)
QOTW - I'm technically a middle child but I'm a twin and one minute older. We always joked one minute still counts lol... We don't skip a generation of twins in my family. We have had twins in every generation for quite a while on my Mom's side!
QOTW: I'm the middle child.
DX - MFI Antibodies, High DNA fragmentation
IUI #1 November 2015 - 0% Motility
IVF #2 May 2016 - (FAIL/25 eggs, 1 5BB xx, PGS abnormal)
@ceclarlinetloI struggle with depression and anxiety and it makes it hard sometimes to be TTC, I can relate. *child mentioned* but I must add once you do have a child, you just work through, and I don't think I am a bad parent, I am sure you will be a great one too!
@turtle148Good luck in the TWW! FX!
@nberthwhat will they do now? give you more provera? I hope AF shows soon!
@Mando15FX for that BFP friday!
@MrsB627I've recently started doing pilates and cycles 3 weeks ago and I really love keeping active. Being active definitely helps me!
AFM, I have my appointment today. It's CD3, they will check for cysts and I will start femara today. Not sure what dosage yet, I have a bunch of things I want to ask the Dr and I am pretty nervous. Next cycle I will be away on vacation when I need to have my US so we will have to skip it. It makes me kind of angry how 3 cycles of femara have turned into 6 months because of having to skip cycles.
QOTW- I am the oldest of two, I have a younger brother. They always treated me different, made me more accountable and responsible and babied my brother. To this day. My dad went on to have two other children who are now 12 and 10, but I don't have much of a relationship with them.

I am on CD7 today. Started temping again this month and eating more healthy and exercising more than just dog walking. DH enjoyed his first session with the Chinese Medicine Doctor lady so he is going to continue to go see her.
QOTW- I am the oldest of 3. I have two younger brothers. It was treated differently because I am the only girl, I could always play "but I'm your favourite Daughter" card, especially with my dad. Also being the oldest, I had a lot more rules growing up then my brothers. Especially the youngest.

QOTW : I am the oldest of two. My parents got pregnant with me after 9 years of TTC , so I think I received a little special treatment, maybe As the older sister, I was also expected to be the responsible and mature one all the time .
I'm the oldest. My parents were very strict with me and not so much with my brother and sister.
QOTW: I am the oldest. I just have one younger sister and I just think I was given more responsibility growing up, and even now.

Qotw: I am the oldest, and I have one younger brother to whom I naturally became a "mother hen" to, and because of this my parents relied on me a lot to look out for him and help guide him. I didn't mind it one bit though, and I still feel this way!
Children: 1 (girl, 3 years)
TTTC #1 since April 2015, Started Treatment Dec 2015
5 Cycles of IF treatment until BFP! (IUI, Gonal-F, Letrozole)
Born: May 22, 2017
TTTC #2 since September 2020, Currently in Testing phase
AF came last night for me and it was the first time in 12 cycles that it made me really upset. I had an HSG test last month and thought maybe we'd be one of the lucky ones to get KO afterward. I had a BBT drop just below coverline on CD6, which I'd hoped was implantation. I started crying doing the dishes...it's just hard.
A question for you ladies: I started AF last evening around 7pm. Real bleeding - does that make yesterday CD1? I always thought yes. We're doing our first IUI this cycle and it will be medicated. I called our RE this morning to schedule the 11/12CD ultrasound. The appointment scheduler scheduled it for what she calls CD12 because she's counting today as CD1. Does that make sense? I didn't think it was a big deal because I don't usually O until CD 16 at least, but I'm supposed to start Letrozole CD3. So should I start that tomorrow or Sunday?
QOTW: I'm the second oldest of 8 in a blended family. I have one older and one younger step sisters plus one younger half sister at my dad/step moms. One full younger brother. One step sister and one step brother, both younger, plus one younger half sister at my mom/step dads. I was definitely given a lot of responsibility and in some ways had a different (less patient) mother, but all in all it was fine. I think it led to me being really responsible and successful as an adult. My siblings tend to be "compared" to me, so that sucks for them sometimes.
Baby A (via IUI due to MFI): Sep 2016 born at 35+6
I would count cd1 as the first day of bleeding. I would start femara tomorrow, because if they don't count the first day of bleeding you would start cd2, the other way, you would start cd4. But I would ask the dr just to be sure. I am sure they will let you know.
