My allergies. The previous owners of our house had 4 (yes, 4) fucking cats. I'm allergic to cats. DH decided to remove the radiator covers and vacuum behind the radiators (why? I don't know! That dude never cleans) and in the process he stirred up so much hidden cat hair that I haven't been able to breathe and haven't stopped sneezing for the past 24 hours. FML.

H's parents are twatwaffles! We are visiting them for new years and were supposed to be staying in a hotel, since they live in a 1 br apartment. Yeah, apparently they cancelled the hotel reservation and now we are going to be sleeping on an air mattress in their living room. I am so pissed off! Not only do I have to test early for this, but we are spending $250 for a petsitter and driving 7 hrs to get there! The least you could do is not make me sleep on the floor and share your bathroom.  UGHHGHGH!!!

Jetlag/exhaustion from traveling (and from our cats being needy and waking me up at all hours) is being a Twatwaffle to me today!

My plan was to get home last night, sleep well, not have any caffeine in the morning, and get right back into the pool at my usual 6AM ish time...

Our new patient system is the twatwaffle.  Our payroll is pretty outdated so four of us sat and calculated it for about three hours... only to find out our patient system had a glitch giving incorrect information.  We now have to re-do a large portion of it.

DH's friend's wife. She asked me for a recipe and then responded with 1,000 tips on how she made it "better".  It didn't even sound like the same recipe anymore. She does that kind of thing to everyone about everything, as if she is the smartest person on the planet.

I usually can tolerate this behavior, but I don't want to be around her after our loss. If she found out about it, I feel like she'd insinuate that I caused it in some way or another. (She lectures another friend about how she should use coconut oil instead of lotion while pg, since, according to her, all lotion has evil toxins in it that harm baby.)

The weather is a twatwaffle, or maybe it's the fact that I have to walk back and forth to work twice today. It's a mile away, so mark me down for wading through 4 miles of snow and slush, while its raining. Yes I could take public transit, but it's not a direct route so it takes longer than walking. Blah.

All of my electrical devices are twatwaffles. I want to re-read an old book on my Kindle, but it died last night and I'm sharing that charger with my phone so it's charged for tomorrow, and I only have one plug-in to keep those two and my computer plugged in if I want to have the light on...

Really all of this is my fault for neglecting to charge my things, but... I wasn't anticipating needing all three of them today. So.

The NHS is a twatwaffle. All that money each year and the majority get sweet f all in return. I spoke to no less than 5 nhs employees today and not one of them sounded like they completed high school. Brilliant. 

Why can't the UK adopt the same system as the US?  

ETA: no offence meant to anyone on here working for the nhs...I'm sure you did finish high school and weren't one of the 5 people I spoke to today...

Scratch my previous twatwaffles. My dog is now the biggest TW of them all. I thought he was being a good dog and chewing on his beef bone or his porcupine plushie or any of his dozen toys he has.
Nope. He chewed my power cord to my computer in half. Freaking butt-hole.

My computer is being a twatwaffle today. It's a month old Mac, has been great until today when I'm trying to load my teacher perks website so I can order a new phone, and the website won't load. Could be the website but usually I get a error message if it's the website. So basically, either the website or my computer or both are being twatwaffles

Wtf? She really sounds like a prize. I'm sorry for your loss, and you're right, she does sound like a person who would totally go there. Ugh.

Wut. So they cancelled YOUR reservation? Not okay. Boundaries!!! I'd still stay at a hotel. It's not up to them.

@spunkybrewster No, they had made the reservation and were going to pay for it since we were driving so far. I wasn't given any details of why it was cancelled. It was really the only way I was agreeing to drive 14hrs for a weekend visit. We will probably get one anyway, I'm just having a hard time justifying dropping $500-600 for one weekend visit to somewhere I could care less about going in the first place.

I hope you do get one, if anything, just to set a precedent. Sorry about dropping all the $$$, especially on an inlaws trip. I'm with ya there.

The fertility clinic is a twatwaffle. DH had his SA 15 days ago (who's counting?) and we still don't have results. He called a few days after he had it and they told him there was no sperm found in his urine, which was good, but they were still waiting for the SA results. Then he called last Tuesday and they told him the live tests were done and the only thing they were still waiting for was the morphology results and he should hear the next day. As of today, they still haven't called. I'm just hoping this is a good sign that nothing is wrong, because the doc definitely said she would call right away if anything was abnormal. But still so frustrating not to know, and DH is sick of me asking him about calling again.

@sldp123 - I mean, I guess I understand your DH being frustrated at you asking him to call again if you have a few times, but it doesn't sound like he called back after they said they'd have the results the next day... so if I were you, I'd totally be like

@MrsDho11 He never called back because they said they would call him the next day, so now I guess he's just content with being in a standoff waiting to see who calls first?? Haha, and I was giving them the benefit of the doubt with the holiday and all, but I'm definitely going to tell him he needs to call them tomorrow.

One of my, "Best Friends," on a very short list, mind you, is apparently the twatwaffle.  The twatwaffle who tells me that I must have so easily gotten KU by mistake from an assault 8 yrs ago, (and now DH and I have to patiently TTC), because I was carrying more fat and I didn't worry as much as I apparently do now.  And I need to relax.

I have no words.

It was just crazy, cos I mean, she didn't say it in quite so many words, so it took a while for it to sink in what she was even saying.  Cos when she first said it (and of course this is over text so it's extra-stupid), I was like, "I don't even understand how what you're saying has anything to do with what I shared with you about how I was feeling," and then I mean, when it hit me what she was saying I was just like, Oh.  My.  God.  What a sick freaking puppy.  Who seriously even says that shhh... to ANYONE, let alone to the person who she's like, as soon as I GKTFU she wants to throw me the biggest shower and go all out and send her the guest list etc.  And when I did call her on it, she was basically like, that's not what I said.  But seriously, she even claimed she was just trying to give some "practical advice."

But now I really do feel that much more like - lonely almost like who am I even going to tell when I do get KTFU, before announcing it I mean.  And like, now I KNOW who it WON'T be!  Sheesh!

Ouch

It turned out okay. Hubby did his magic and re-wired it together, and then had me plug it in to see if it worked. And when I unplugged it, the power went out, so I had a moment where I was like.. "wow, that was a really interesting re-wiring if you can make the power go out from unplugging the cord..." And then hubby told me that NYSEG was working down the road and it was probably them. And I promptly felt stupid.
