I'm expecting baby #2 June 11th, it will be joining my almost 2 y/o DD Laylah! I'm 16w3d so I'll be finding out the gender around 20w, but I'm having such a hard time deciding on names. What are y'alls favorite girl & boy names from my list? & feel free to comment your top choices as well, I need all the inspiration I can get lol.

Mason, Noah, and Jacob. Delilah and Charlotte. On the fence about Elliot since I have never seen it used as a girl's name, but it could be cute!

Abel is adorable! I love Elliot for a girl. I also live Addison. The only name on your list I'm not a big fan of is Ellison. Mostly because I can't hear/tell the difference between many E's and A's (I had friends named Allison or Ally growing up and they always told me I said their names Ellison and/or Elly). I can't tell a difference. So I'm biased haha.

Elliot is a boy's name!    I think there would be a lot of confusion if you used it for a girl.

I LOVE Abel for a boy. Jackson is also ok as long as it's spelled properly.

Olivia is probably my favorite of the girls.

Elliot is a boys name but I kind of like it (wouldn't use it though). Probably because I'm a huge fan of Scrubs. But even in the show she says her dad was hoping for a boy so that's why he named her that.

IMO there's no such thing as a boys name or girls name. There's just 'more common for x or y currently.' Name usage changes very dramatically every generation, so I say go for what you love and don't sweat the boy girl thing.


Oh- and I love Elliot, Ellison, and Ganon. I also think your Laylah name is great! (My friend's LO is named Leala pronounced Laylah and I love it. Her other LOs are Sloane and Teagan. She does great with names!)

I really like Liam, but it's like the second most popular boy name. It'll be the Nick or Ashley in their time. Being an Ashley (though it's spelled Ashleigh) I don't want the most popular name. So I will be using Liam as a middle name if I have a boy.

I also have always loved the name Delilah, but would probably personally end up going with Lilah instead. I'm afraid everyone would associate the name with the Biblical character, Delilah.

I love the Eliette spelling! I think I'm fighting a losing battle tho, my fiance is a traditional name guy lol I tend to favor more unique uncommon names.

DF came home from work & told me he hated all of the names except for Mason for a boy & Skyler for a girl, but he kinda liked Brooklynn too. The only problem is his cousins son is named Mason, & his cousin also happens to be his boss... Lol we still have about 5 months left so I'm sure we'll find something before then, I'm just extremely OCD & I HAVE to be prepared for everything way ahead of time haha

My DD's name is Laylah, so Lilah is out of the question haha I always wanted to name another daughter Delilah so their names were kinda matchy, but now I don't think I will lol Laylah might get mad!
