Hi everybody, I have been lurking here for about a year on and off after going off the pill to TTC and not getting a period... The forums have been immensely helpful and supportive over the last year ... I did one successful provera round six months after stopping the pill that brought on a period within a couple of days of completing the cycle. However I did not have a natural cycle after that but have been doing acupuncture and herbal treatments (prescribed by accupuncturist and Vitex/chaste berry) for another six months. Still no period after 12 months totAl of stopping the pill. After starting to freak out I underwent another round of provera (hormones being against my better judgment but I felt desperate and panicked) and it has been four days since I stopped and I basically just feel like a whale, mild cramps yesterday and very mild spotting. Hoping AF comes like a crazy flood asap! Never thought i would be so desperate to see her!
I know many of you have had similar experience and we all have different reactions so it is just nice to know what others have been through and what worked. I have also at times abstained from trolling the boards too much so I don't freak myself out with what is going on with others. But at he same time it is helpful. I'm just all over the place right now and I know the stress is the last thing I need!

TTC since January 2015.
No period since going off the pill at that time.
Still playing the waiting, homeopathic game but starting to consider other options and maybe if a "diagnosis" is in order.

Anyways, I know what you mean about the boards freaking you out. On various forums, I've seen people talking about they've been TTC for 5-10 years with failed IVF and all these expensive treatments. It scares me to death because I don't want that to be me. But then I see a success story from a person whose story is like mine and I get a little hope! I'm probably about to drive my husband crazy with all the talk about bbt, cervical mucus, charting, babies, supplements... Lol.
I don't have any advice to you because I'm in the same situation, but I'm wishing you the best of luck!

I know what you mean about the reproductive specialist. My OBGYN told me that I might NEVER get my period regularly again! That was pretty shocking. I asked her if I should see a specialist yet and she said no, just come back when you are ready to try clomid! I'm not quite ready to try because I really want to go the "natural way" as much as possible. (Although I'm not at all opposed to multiples!). I'm really not even THAT baby crazy yet, I really just want my body to get back on track. I always had normal periods before I went on the pill. Short cycles and light bleeding but very predictable.
Yeah...fear of the future keeps me up at night sometimes. I try not to talk about it with DH too much but more and more it looks like a conversation that we need to have.
