Wow. This is unreal... I'm fairly confident my adorable smiley sweet giggly LO is now a demon. This is brutal. Anyone else going through it? Like clockwork, the wonder week started, and my LO has been miserable, screaming for hours during the evenings, refusing to nurse (NEVER has happened before), fussy beyond belief, won't nap anywhere but on me (she's never done this, always naps in a swing). My DH and I are miserable, we've tried about everything. I hate myself for this but we gave her baby Tylenol for the last two nights and it was the ONLY thing that stopped the screaming and allowed her to sleep. Please please please someone tell me they are experiencing this too. My LO is 14 weeks today but was born 2 weeks early so she's now in her 3rd wonder week since it goes by due date.
We haven't had the constant screaming, but yes, this leap SUCKS!!! She is just so freaking fussy, throws a fit if anyone but me holds her, etc. Just gotta ride it out!! Hang in there!
I had this 4 nights n day n a row and I'm exhusted! !! Tonight thankfully he's sleeping but I'm so used to the sleepless nights that now I can't sleep. Oh the irony....
It's awful. We're in it right now too! My little guy is 15 weeks but born 3 weeks early. We're visiting my husband's family for the week for Christmas and he won't stop crying. Everyone is trying to hold him and he will only calm down with me. It's extremely difficult as is, but add in the mix of traveling and a big family all trying to spend time with him and it is just awful. My MIL keeps trying to soothe him instead of handing him to me and it's driving me insane. Then by the time she gets too tired from trying to soothe him, she finally gives him to me and he's overtired and a mess. I think I'm going to go crazy if this keeps up. What happened to my sweet, happy, smiley baby!?
Yes. This is the first one that has been horrible. She just gets so pissed when I move her a way she doesn't like. She just starts screaming for no reason. Or so it seems. She has also been sleeping way more but when she wakes up straight back to fussiness. We got a break today and she was her happy self which was lovely. Hope she is back to normal soon. I hope you get relief soon! It can't last forever lol
My daughter did this every night from when she was born then from 7 weeks to 12 weeks it stopped. It then started again a couple of weeks ago but last no where near as long.. And became fussy in the day when she was tired. Turns out she's teething! I think that's why she gets a bit grumpy now x
