Pregnant after a Loss

Cautious intro...and full force obsessing (loss, lc mentioned)

Hi all. I recognize some of these names from TTCAL out TTC after 35.  I have had two successful pregnancies and a MMC in April at 9.5 weeks.  I think I saw in another part that some other members were also previously on the Nov 15 birth month board.

I am currently 7 weeks 2 days awaiting first doctor's appointment next week.  I've had lots of nausea, minor vomiting some food aversions and fatigue.  Trying hard not to obsess over daily variations in symptoms.  I find myself anxious because by breasts aren't store this week like last week, grateful for my four aversions and worried that my nausea and fatigue isn't bad enough.  Trying to take his day by day and to STOP OBSESSING and have faith and hope.  Grateful to be able to join you all going to bp be here for the long haul.

  • I was Nov 15 and know you from TTC over 35 and TTCAL. I'm 6w5d. The nausea is horrendous, but it has distracted me from my miscarriage fears. I have an appt for an u/s in an hour, so I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach. Hopefully it will go well!

  • Congrats! We can all relate. I just went in for a second round of Bloodwork and am so nervous. This is when my hcg dropped last time so I'm paranoid and feel like now I have no symptoms. It's hard to but you just have to be positive! FX for you and everyone on this board :)
  • Congratulations! Your miserable symptoms sound good for a pregnant person!
  • I was part of the October '15 board and had a loss at 9.5wks discovered at my 12wk.  I am now 24+4wks (wow that really seems amazing to write out).  Congratulations on your pregnancy, I don't think there is anything to be done to calm nerves, but deep breaths

  • Thanks so much for the warm welcome ladies. Had my first appointment the week before Christmas. Our prenatal care is different here in Canada. You are seen by your family doctor until 27 weeks. So while I had bloodworm done there is no in office US or blood work. But no call back after had a few lab tests so hopefully all is good. I go back at 12 weeks and hope to hear the HB then. Between the craziness before Christmas, my work and family responsibilities and my chronic need to inspect the toilet bowl haven't been here much, but appreciate the good wishes.
