Vagina Boogers? - TMI

So after all that talk about VAJAZZLING yesterday, I have a fun one for y'all. So last night I managed to not be uselessly exhausted OR terribly nauseous, and we DID THE DEED. I cleaned up what I thought was pretty well. Tonight when I showered (I'm an evening showering kind of gal), while I washed my lady bits, I found and removed what I can only describe as a vagina booger. It looked exactly what a normal healthy nose booger would look like - a white soft solid, kinda stringy and not really stretchy. No blood or anything at all. I tried doing google searches and searches here and the only vag boogers I can see referenced are MP prior to delivery, but those are bloody. So I'm not actually worried, cuz no blood or anything, but I'm a little creeped out. I'm a FTM. Is this something anyone has ever heard of either pre-preg or early in? I haven't even had my first appointment yet, but I don't feel crampy or anything. I just wanted to get some viewpoints. The only thing I can think of is potentially dried semen that was way up there? Or maybe vag is just sad that I didn't glitter it on up...

Re: Vagina Boogers? - TMI

  • Sounds like egg white cervical mucus or your CM mixed with semen.

  • Yes, a lot of women get increased cervical mucous with pregnancy. Don't worry about it.

  • I've had a lot of vaginal discharge since this week (week 9) and looked it up and it's normal but today for the first time in 4 weeks i'm not feeling nauseous but I do have heavy cramping so I'm kinda scared that something might be wrong. Anyone experience the same kinda thing or any advice? :/
  • I just had this problem, and although I am having lots of sex its not always right after. I heard that it actually may be part of your MP while its forming. Its already there in the first trimester, right? Stands to reason you'd get some discharge from that? They said it can be kind of..gelatin like. Anyway, I couldn't find a better answer so that's what I'm going with lol.

  • I've had those while not pregnant. It's just cervical mucus but thank you for putting the image of vagina boogers in my brain.

  • I've had all kinds of heavy discharge and unusual CM since getting pregnant. Woke up this morning feeling like I had peed myself I had so much. I'm not too worried. Until I actually pee myself. Then I'll be concerned.

  • Why is everyone so sensitive about a little vagina discharge talk? lol.

    VAGINA BOOGERSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Anyway, it's a concern someone had, and probably she's not the only one who had had it. Kudos to her.

  • @jlgriff11 - For me, it was the term 'vagina booger', not that she's talking about discharge. Also, I don't think anyone was mean; it's all in fun.

  • Oh lordy... My MS just went crazy. No more cm posts in first tri please!

It's normal, so many changes going on in your body right now that nothing down there will look like it did before becoming pregnant.

Yes. This. I'm a grown woman. I have cervical mucus. The term vagina booger is what caught me off guard.
