Hey ladies! My hubby and I are ttc. I've been off BCP for months now but this is our first month trying. We have unprotected sex all month, including twice during my fertile window. My cycle are extremely regular, coming exactly every 28 days. I am now 4 days late with like 6 negative pregnancy tests. This is super frustrating! And I certainly don't want to come off cocky, but I know I'm very fertile because I got pregnant in high school (placed for adoption) and my hubby and I got pregnant on accident last winter (miscarriage). So this is all new to me and I wanted to know your thoughts! Thanks a ton!
My thoughts are that you aren't pregnant and that you ovulated later than normal. Regardless of your "super fertility"
I personally have zero thoughts about you, your HPT results, or your fertile myrtle status. Maybe contribute to this forum and read some of the posts before turning this board into your own personal blog.
If you haven't had a baby since high school, you do not know if you are "very fertile." If you have been having unprotected sex for a year without a successful pregnancy, you are actually infertile by medical definition. Also, try to be a little more sensitive to other people who might be struggling before you declare yourself as super fertile on a message board. I have been pregnant 4 times, but I would never call myself "very fertile" and, in fact, I did have to go through infertility treatments to have my first take-home baby.
If your period is late and your tests are negative, the reason is that you ovulated later than normal. It's really that simple.
Keep taking tests until you get your period or a positive test. But if you go 60 days without either, you should call your doctor.
If you want to know when you ovulated (and therefore to know when your period is actually late) you should learn to chart your cycles by reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, sign up for Fertility Friend at fertilityfriend.com and do the tutorials. Good luck
Just an FYI to OP, You are currently and will continue to be flamed for posting this. The reason is because you didn't read the rules of the board first. If you had you would have known better than to post this.
The community is SUPER supportive and informative, but only if you play by the rules and contribute more or equal to how much you ask people to assist you.
My advice: Don't get discouraged. lurk around the threads on this board and you will learn so much! Please read the pinned posts at the top of the board which were specifically created for newbies.
Ok FYI- getting pregnant in high school does not mean you are still "very fertile". I got pregnant in high school yet still had to go through 3 rounds of IUI and IVF in order to conceive again when I was 29. Also it doesn't matter that you have been "having sex all month"- the only sex that mattered was the two times during your fertile period. Anyway to get to your question, my opinion is if you are truly 4 days late, and you are testing negative then you are not pregnant at this time. I would suggest reading the newbie post and lurking a lot

1. You ovulated later than you thought. Your cycles are normal until they are not. 2. If you go 60 days without your period or a BFP, contact your doctor. 3. Buy a BBT, and start temping. You will get a more accurate idea when you ovulated. So you know when to expect your period or when to test. Regardless of how "super fertile" you think you are.
ETA - Also don't come on here bragging about your speshul snowflake fertility. It's insensitive to the folks that have been trying for quite a long time now.

Thanks for coming on here and bragging about your "super fertility" to all of us. You should probably go find a cat and see if it lays on your stomach. That is the most accurate way to determine if your are KU or not.

Keep testing until you get a positive or AF. If you go 60 without either, call your doctor.

Maybe in the future think about what you're posting and to whom. Coming in to a group of women TTC and bragging about supposed super fertility isn't cool
Test once a week until you get a +HPT or your period.
"super fertility" can change. I have two kids 20 months apart (2 under 2 for a bit). I'm currently on month 15 of trying for #3. You get older, cycles change. I certainly would never come on here & brag about my fecundity. It's just in poor taste. Like bragging about money or people you know. Just not done in polite conversation.

I just... I can't even right now.
"Super fertility"? Seriously?
At least her uterus isn't gurgling? She didn't mention if her left boob is itching or if her uterus felt "full" sooo ...she really does need to let us know if a cat will sit on her stomach.

I have nothing else to add that the other ladies that are much more patient and helpful than I haven't already.
Your username is "MrsDRKirkpatrick"so I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that either you or your husband are a medical professional. If so, why would you think a bunch of internet strangers would have better answers?
Ahh, the dirty delete. OP, you cannot delete on the bump and putting delete in the title only attracts attention. Please take the advice above. Or ask your DH who, I infer from your screen name, is either a doctor or plays one on tv?
Deleting posts is frowned upon. And you've been quoted so it was kind of pointless too. Lurk the board a bit and read the newbie guide. You'll learn a lot.
OP if you regret your post instead of deleting just come back with a nice reply to the effect of "hey guys, I realize that I shouldn't have merely prefaced my mention of how I'm "very fertile" and instead I should have left it out completely. I also acknowledge that I should not have asked internet strangers if I'm pregnant or not. Mea culpa. It won't happen again! I will promptly go read the rules. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Please give me another chance!" and then hang around to learn (and for the snark. The snark is amazing).
