We've added Everett to the short list too.  I'm sure at some point people will try to call him by a nickname.  Ev or Evie is not something we like, but Rett wouldn't bother me at all.  Is that too much of a stretch?

    No, not at all. I've heard of a lot of people using Rett as the nn.

    Nope.. Because Rhett Butler made the name pretty famous.  I think you're good.
