DH has his SA today and a week from today is our RE appointment. I'm a little anxious today; I just really hope we get good results next week from the SA.

Today is CD 13... I took the clomid cd5-9 so this week is all about monitoring ovulation and trying to conceive. Its the most nerve wrecking time in the process yet because of I O we could get a BFP for xmas, but if I dont, we carry on the process into the new year.
QOTW: mint chocolate chip with on sauce, but pb Oreo is a close second!

I had my HSG last week. Everything was clear. My day 3 blood work was all normal as well. The RE says at this point we are just looking at male fertility issues. DH goes to the urologist on December 18th.
I'm currently 5dpiui and taking progesterone suppositories each night right before bed. My symptoms today include exhaustion, sore nipples, and a little bloating. DH and I leave for Disney World on Friday so I'm just trying to get through work this week and then I can relax and enjoy myself the rest of my 2ww!
@ceclarlinetlo - Are you taking progesterone suppositories? I'm taking those too, but I was told they prolong your period! But I guess there is so much I don't know. Anyway, GL at your appointment tomorrow, keep us posted!
@severmilli12 - I hope the SA comes back good and GL at your first RE appointment! Please keep us posted!
@Plainjanie - Hopefully everything goes okay at the urologist! We're planning to meet with a urologist too if our IUI is unsuccessful.
QOTW: mint chocolate chip
ETA the QOTW because I usually forget!

@wifeinraleigh28 I'm taking a pill by mouth - I was told to take it for 12 days and then within a few days after I stop taking it the sudden drop in progesterone is supposed to stimulate a period - similar to what should happen naturally if I were ovulate effectively.
Good Morning!! I am new on here. My name is Crystal and my husband and I have been TTC for almost 4 years we took a year off in the middle for wedding planning. We have just started treatment again. This is the first month this time around. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Currently we are in treatment. I took provera to start my period and then 5 days of femara after my ultrasound. When I went back to see how many follicles had grown, we had only have one follie and it was still too small. The Drs prescribed another 5 days of Meds, only this time Clomid. I got back on 12/2 for another ultrasound. We are praying for a well sized follie. If all goes as planned we will induce ovulation with a trigger shot followed by the iui.
Oh, I almost forgot, my favorite ice cream right now is Pistachio.
Currently 11 DPO and dying to test, but I'm going to hold off until Thursday (14 DPO). After all of the confusion from my current RE (missing my ovulation), I decided to set up a second opinion appointment with a doctor at another practice. The appointment is on Wednesday so I'm anxious to hear what he says. I am on oral progesterone supplements for the first time and surprisingly have not gotten any symptoms. I guess I will count myself lucky!

Hey everyone! I went in saturday for follie check and I had one in each ovary- one 31mm and the other 27mm. So they triggered me and I ovulated Saturday afternoon. So that makes me 2DPO. I will be testing out my trigger. Any advice on that? I am not sure when to start and if to use FMU or SMU (I always tested better with SMU so I am inclined to do that). So hoping to see a line disappear and get dark again this next weeks. If I get pregnant this cycle my due date will be out 5th year wedding anniversary, so I would be thrilled!

Hi ladies, I'd like to join in and take part in the journey with you all. We've been together for 10 years, married in May and TTC since August. Battling PCOS and using donor sperm since DW has no sperm count :-) We are CD9 into our second medicated iui cycle (100mg Clomid and Ovidrel Trigger).
Hi all! I'm new to the boards and am looking for some support and hope it's OK if I just jump in!
We're waiting on a diagnosis of MFI from DH's next urology appointment. He had SAs in 7/15, 8/15 and again last week. We're waiting on those results. He started clomid in September and it has improved his T level. Hoping it also helps his swimmers. So far my testing has shown no issues. I appear to be ovulating regularly on my own, although my cycles vary by a couple of days each month. I did meet with an RE last week and she seems to be really proactive, which I appreciate. She's sending me for blood work on CD3 and an HSG test. We'll meet after those in Dec to review and we'll have the results from DH's final SA. She feels from his other two that we're candidates for IUI so I'm hoping that stands after the latest. Although I'm struggling to feel confident that IUI will work.
Does anyone else ever feel like you won't get pregnant? I've always wanted kids and could always picture myself pregnant but I haven't been able to recently and I think I'm subconsciously sabotaging myself by believing it'll never happen. I'm trying to get over that and think positively because for some reason I think it will help.
Favorite ice cream is old fashioned 'hard' chocolate with peanut butter ribbons. Yum!! I also love the BlueBell Banana Pudding babyexpress posted, but we haven't had BlueBell back in our area since all the recalls this summer.

Yeah, pretty much all of us have gone through the IF blues... whenever I feel like I'll never get pregnant I look at the BFP hall of fame and think about some offline friends of mine who had worse diagnosis who ended up having kids. Right now I'm in a "eggs+sperm+money=baby" mindset!
@MorganL925 - I often have similar thoughts as you... a "feeling" that I just won't ever get pregnant, and then I feel devastated because it's something that I've always wanted. The unknown really scares me, but I do my best to think positively and just pray for a positive pregnancy test one day!! Welcome and congrats on getting down to business by seeing an RE!

Appointment today with my OB. All my tests have came back normal. I have a bi ornate uterus so he's sending me for an MRI just to make sure nothing else is up but he doesn't seem worried. Starting clomid round 1 whenever AF shows up. I'm supposed to take clomid CD 4-8, which sounds like weird days to me but whatever I guess.
Favorite ice cream: coffee from a local creamery. Yum!
My nurse consult is Friday. We are doing it over the phone since the clinic is 2 hours away. I'm nervous about it because I think I might not understand some things. If it ends up with me still unsure of the process we'll probably schedule another appointment in-person.
Had my progesterone test Monday, which looked great. Now I'm just twiddling my thumbs, waiting patiently (aka googling pregnancy symptoms like a mad woman).
@MorganL925 Sending lots of hugs and positive thoughts your way.

So I went for a second opinion today and I'm so glad that I did! The doctor was so understanding and really took his time to gather history and understand my cycles. He also looked at my ovaries and saw that my left one looked poly cystic. If I am not pregnant, (he did draw blood to check) then he is planing to put me on letrozole next cycle as well as a ovidrel and vaginal progesterone suppositories. He will be monitoring me a lot more closely so I feel a lot more at ease if I do have to do another cycle and I'm not pregnant.
