DS is 3 weeks old and has several episodes daily of screaming, hunching, straightening legs, and passing gas. He is EBF, burps between each breast and after, and I use gas drops after each feeding. I'm avoiding cows milk but haven't completely cut out dairy yet. His doctor wasn't convinced it was a lactose problem but DS1 was lactose intolerant and soy formula made him a different baby when we discovered it at 10 weeks... so I'm not sure why he thinks it's impossible.
Anyone else dealing with an extremely gassy baby? Anything working for you?
I just wrote a question on this seconds ago! My three week old baby is the same way! Grunts, legs straight out and seems in pain after breast feeding and throughout the night he will make these noises in his sleep! Our pediatrician said it's something all babies go through and they are trying to figure out there digestive systems! I am still concerned though
I have two friends who always eliminate dairy as well and I know that at least one of them, both of her daughters eat dairy now. They were just sensitive as babies.
