Pregnant after a Loss

Pregnancy symptoms nearly gone

I'm 5+2 weeks. Betas last week we're great. Last blood test was Thursday. Ultrasound scheduled for 12/10. On Friday I made the mistake of taking another hpt. The line was lighter. All weekend the line has been lighter. No bleeding. No cramping. Bbs hurt off and on. But I am convinced I've lost this one too. I can't shake the feeling. I'm going to be a mess until the ultrasound or I start to bleed. :-(

My boobs always came and went! Can you get in to see your doctor tomorrow? Thinking of you

I can't remember what it is called, but it's the "something effect". Which specifically happens in the situation you are describing--like the line on the test gets lighter and lighter the farther after the first positive. It means nothing in terms of the pregnancy. I wish I could remember, as I had never heard of it. Retesting after getting a solid positive is really not helpful. Good betas mean a 1000x times more. Waiting sucks, but it will be a component of the entire pregnancy. GL.

As for your symptoms, they aren't a good indicator of how a pregnancy is going.

Thanks @peregrinefalconx, I'll keep that in mind for myself.  No more testing and ignore the symptoms.  Two less ways to make myself crazy.

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

CarrieandRoy  No problem. The worries can be endless. Better to nip in the bud what you can! If only we could get rid of the internet and heart dopplers, we'd be set.

Ha -- I was thinking I'd get a heart doppler if I got far enough along.  Maybe not?

I tested like a serial maniac until my wondfos were gone. Which took a while bc I'd ordered the big pack. About three days after my first BFP the line was almost gone. I freaked out. Went in for betas and they were fine. I'd started drinking a lot more water bc I figured I should to be healthier. I don't know if I had just really diluted my urine or what. All I know is after I ran out of tests, I was happier. And I didn't have any real symptoms until 6 weeks (I'm 9+3 today). I hope everything turns out just fine for you!!

I'm still temping every morning and I'm so scared to see a low temp. I'm torn between stopping for peace of mind and the fact that finding out from a temp is less traumatic than seeing blood.

When I miscarried I never had any pregnancy symptoms other than a positive test, I eventually miscarried at 8 weeks. However I am now pregnant again and didn't feel anything until 7 weeks where morning sickness hit me like a train. Please try and relax, I know its difficult and the wait feels awful but you can do it.

Put the pregnancy tests down! You'll feel better!
