Zero fertility treatment

My insurance won't pay. I'm so disgusted. I am 39 and this is second marriage. I have a child that is ten. I will never share this with my husband. All my blood work was fine but I can't seem to get pregnant again. I had a early miscarriage last year. His sperm was fine. I think it's age idk..

    Sorry to hear that. :-( a lot of girls here struggle with insurance issues.

    Started TTC April 2011
    Me: 32, DH: 32
    Diagnosis: Endometriosis

    • 2012 - 3 Rounds clomid - all BFN
    • 2013 - 1 Fresh IVF with 2 day 3 embryos - BFN
    • 2014 - 1 Frozen IVF with 2 day 5 embryos - BFN
    • Took a long break, continuing trying naturally
    • Feb 2016 - Biopsy = Endo, DH sperm improved from 1% to 6% morphology
    • March 2016 - Fresh IVF cycle with acupuncture & intralipids: 20 eggs retrieved (17 mature), 7 ICSI'd fertilized, 9 naturally fertilized. 16 total embryos!
    • April 8th - 2 embryos (1ICSI and 1 Natural) transferred. (7 blastocysts frozen), April 18th - Beta = BFN
    • Sept 23rd - Lupron Depot Injection for Endo control
    • Nov 15th 2016 - Started daily Lupron Injections for upcoming FET
    • Nov 22 - Baseline US/BW - Intralipid Infusion - Start Meds for FET with immune protocol
    • Dec 16th FET transfer of 3 embryos (1 - AA, 2 - BB)
    • TW below
    • Dec 22nd - first ever bfp (very faint lines FRER & cheapie)
    • Dec 27th Beta = 192, Dec 29th Beta = 379
    • EDD - Sept 5th 2017

    I'm sorry you have no coverage, that is incredibly frustrating!  Are you saying you would never share with your husband that you have a 10 year old child?  I'm not sure what you were referring to...

    IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
    FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17

    FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20

    I'm sorry to hear that. I too have zero insurance coverage and have paid everything out of pocket (diagnostic testing, blood work, and everything that goes along with IVF, including medications). Not going to lie, it's a very expensive process (but varies a ton based on where you live and the doc). However, we decided it's worth it in the end to have a family together.

    I also have no coverage.  We're simply going into debt.  It's not the right choice for everyone, but it's right for us.
    Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
    Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
    TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
    2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
    Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
    Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!  
    fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! 
    Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling :( I think in reality most people don't have coverage which is outrageous . We may have to assume debt from this awful situation as well ... Or put off buying a home . It's just plain shitty .

    DH: No issues.
    Me: PCOS, unexplained infertility (whatever that means!!)
    June 2015 Medicated TI cycle: BFN
    July 2015:  Medicated TI cycle: BFN
    August 2015: IUI: BFP. Chemical pregnancy :(
    October 2015: IUI: BFN
    January 2016: Egg retrieval: 10 frozen embryos!
    March 2016: FET Cycle- 2 embryos transferred!: BFP !

    I can't imagine what you ladies are going through without insurance coverage.  Between paying for just co-pays and donor sperm alone every cycle we are $1500+ a cycle and it's very difficult.  

    Just wanted to share a site that provides some grants and scholarships to those struggling with Infertility.  You may want to take a look and see if there is anything there that may apply to you.

    IUI #2 - 12/2015 - 100MG Clomid + 150MG Clomid + Ovidrel = BFP (Miscarried @ 13w3d)
    IUI #3 - 07/2016 - 100MG Clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
    IUI #4 - 08/2016 - 100MG Clomid + Ovidrel = ???
