I am currently 23 weeks, and have been feeling baby wince about 19 weeks. But I feel like the babys movements have gotten weaker and not as much over time. Maybe I'm just being silly but the past couple of weeks I feel like I felt stronger movements earlier than I do now. Shouldnt movements get stronger and more consistant? Not slow down and weaker?
Do you know if you have anterior placenta or not - that can weaken the feelings. Also I remember with DS2, right around 24 weeks the movements weren't as strong for about 2 weeks. I believe it's because his back was to my stomach and all of his movements were to my back. As long as you're feeling movements daily, you should be fine.

Like skruhmin said it probably has to do with the position of the baby. As long as you are feeling movement every day then I am sure it's fine. Sometimes I feel him a lot during the day and then sometime days it will only be once or twice a day.
I have an anterior placenta and at my last ultrasound my little one was facing my spine. I feel most of her movements really low...because she is always stomping on or punching my cervix, mostly...but sometimes feel her stretching or repositioning up higher. Just not nearly as often as those low movements.
You can always give your dr a call, but I agree with the other ladies that it's most likely a positioning thing.
My movement seemed to disappear for 3 days completely around 21 weeks. I called dr and they just said I should come in for a sono- they actually said to go there or hospital. But I had 0 movement. The sono tech at ob is so nice, she checked heart beat, size, fluids, etc in about 5 minutes and said to come back whenever I needed. Might want to make sure insurance is in line with anything boarder line elective you do, but this is my 5th sono and its already been paid just fine. Tech mentioned orange juice if I didn't have diet restrictions and laying on my left side while doing nothing else, and just paying close attention. My Placenta was low, but hasn't seemed to have an effect. Baby is breach also, so all my flutters are basically behind my pubic bone- previous baby was kicking up near ribs by now.
Thanks ladie, I have a posterior placenta, but I called my Dr and am just waiting for a call back. Which could take days. But these post are so helpful thank you. Hopefully he is just in a weird position and the fact that I wasn't the skinniest person around before pregnancy probably doesn't help.
