Tula carrier questions

I have two questions about the Tula....

1: If you buy one, does it go from birth to age 4 like the description says or do you have to get a new one at each stage?
2: Can you breastfeed while baby is in the front carry position?

I am in need of a new carrier and I really like the Tula carriers but I wasn't sure if I would need to purchase one or more, these may change my decision. Please help!!

I also want to get a Tula carrier and as I was researching I read there's a baby carrier that goes from 15-45 lbs and if you want to use it from birth you need to buy the infant insert. You can also use it into toddlerhood if you buy the extender seperately. This is all for the baby carrier. If you buy the toddler carrier it goes from 25lbs and 32 inches tall to 50lbs or up to 4 years. I bought the Solly Baby Wrap for right now and when he reaches 25lbs I'm thinking of buying the toddler carrier so I don't have to buy any other extenders or inserts. Also I did read it had a removable hood that helped for comfortable breastfeeding and to protect from the sun and wind so I'm guessing you could breastfeed but I'm not sure about that or if it's from the front carry position. The Tula can be used from birth up with the infant insert. Usually once they are in 2T clothes they need to move up to a toddler or get the leg extenders. And you can breastfeed in it while front carrying.

I have the boba 3g soft carrier and I love it. I used it when he was brand new and I think it will last well into toddlerhood. You just unroll and unclip a few pieces and it's ready for a bigger kid. It comes with a hood and foot stirrups too.

I would suggest finding your local baby wearing group and trying out a carrier before purchasing one. They have helped me so much figure out the best carrier for me and to make sure I was using them properly. Also with Tula it's less about weight and more about their leg length they shouldn't need to be in a toddler till they are in 2t pants.
