Post D&C Bleeding...off and on?

I had a D&C on 10/20 and I was very confident I had stopped bleeding in 11/3. Went to my follow up appointment with my doctor on Friday 11/6 and told her I had stopped bleeding....must have jinxed it because it started up again tonight (light cramping, bloated and kind of like a light period) ...what the heck? I will call my doctor on Monday, but I wanted to get other people experiences.....hopefully this is normal..I thought this was all behind me since they said you only usually bleed for 2 weeks!

I bleed for 4 weeks after my d&c. Everyone's different. I think it depends on how far along you were and how much retained tissue you had. I had a rough time with a total of 7 weeks bleeding but I'm now 3 cycles out and all good now. When it was going on I thought it would never end but it does. I hope it eases up for you soon.

I also bled for almost 4 weeks and then went right into a period I think. But it only lasted 3 days so I don't know. Everyone is different but it will end eventually.

I stopped, and then had another big gush 1 week later. It was after this that I finally got a negative pregnancy test (no bloodwork). I think it was my body getting rid of last bit of tissue.
