Why does my breastfed newborn spit up so much?

My 6 week old started to spit up ever since she was about 2 weeks old. She would spit up anywhere between 1-5 times per feeding! I've asked the doctor and he gave me a few different things to try -- fed her less, burp her more often, and sit her as straight up as possible when feeding her, but nothing has worked! Does anyone else have this problem? And if so, what helped your LO?

Yup! Their little muscles are still underdeveloped to keep the food down, which usually starts happening around 2 weeks (bc they're eating more also). My LO threw up so much around then it scared me, it seemed like her whole feeding! She still spits up, but not as much. Just try to keep LO still for about 10 minutes after and that should help!
