A new study shows listeria grows fast on caramel apples if you do not put it in the fridge. The wooden stick is what causes it, releases the juices which then listeria grows on. So if you make or buy caramel apples put it in the fridge

Thanks! I just got some from the fair this weekend and haven't putting in the fridge yet :-SS but I will when I get home

Thanks! I cut into one and left it on the counter thinking I'd go back to it. In the garage it went.
