I like wearing form-fitting tanks, shirts or long-sleeved tops under sweaters or cardigans. I also just bought two (cheap, ha ha) pairs of ballet flats that I can already tell are going to need some good pairs of Dr. Scholls!

Definitely no faux leather or jumpsuits. Jeans yes. T-shirts yes (since it's still 80* outside). Can't wait for scarf weather!

I find that shirt dresses and sweater dresses with leggins and a nice pair of heels or boots are the best. Same goes for tunics with leggins or some tailored ankle pants. I live in my leggins (leggins jeans of different colors, work leggings, and just leggins). I think once I can no longer get those around my mid-section, I'll switch to tights with tunics, dresses, blazers etc.

I have a friend who lived her entire pregnancy in jumpsuits. She said her husband absolutely hated it, but she was comfortable so she rocked it anyhow. I think a jumpsuit would just make me feel like a whale, or an overgrown toddler.

And pleather, NOOOOoooo

I'm digging the denim though. I really want a chambray shirtdress, but I can't find one that looks right on me. And is cheap. I am cheap.

I don't aspire to look like Chelsea Clinton or Vanessa Lachey when I'm not pregnant so even the temporary insanity sometimes associated with pregnancy hormones can't make me want to wear pleather or jumpsuits now. Not to mention the baby gear I could score for $200+ that would last longer than the 5 months tops I'd fit in plastic pants!

That said I live in jeans and tees and layer sweaters or Blazers along with scarves for the office.

And while capes may be passé, I get tons of compliments on the three ruanas I own and will continue to rock them pregnant or not.
