Help my baby won't sleep at night in crib anymore

For the past two nights my son won't sleep in his crib at night and only wants to sleep in our bed. My husband travels for work and got back two nights ago and no clue if this is a factor. We even tried putting the pack and play in our room and he just cries in this.
