We gave the beeb a pep talk on the way to the doctor about making sure to let the ultrasound lady get nice pictures of all the parts she needed, and the very first thing it showed us was a penis! I guess that answers that question haha.
Found out on Tuesday that DS is getting a baby sister! Excited, and also scared because I'm so used to a boy!
Congrats!! I was the same way but vise versa. I don't know how to take care of a boy. But then DH reminded me i didnt know how to take care of a girl either and so far so good. So just keep that in mind lol
My intuition (and dreams) told me we were having a girl- we found out two days before thanksgiving that I can trust my intuition! We are so excited to meet our sweet baby girl!!
We finally found out we are having a girl at our second anatomy scan (first one she didn't cooperate at all so they brought us in again to get the pictures they wanted)...a bit of a shock as we both thought boy but very excited!!!
Having a girl!!! Im 23 weeks today. Our first is a boy, he is three. I feel so blessed. I have the perfect family, happily married, a boy first and a girl second, three years apart... Its my childhood dream come true
Have any of you brought your older children with you to the anatomy scan? I have a 5 and 7 year old (both daughters) who really want to come see their baby. I'm sure they will behave well and I'm planning on packing coloring books in case it runs long. Just looking back for some experiences I guess. Edited because this silly app likes to only post half of what I type.

Check your OB's policy. Ours has a ratio off adults to children allowed, not including Mom.
Well at my 16th week ultrasound (doctor couldn't find a heartbeat so they sent me to ultrasound) they told me it is definitely a girl. Just had my 24th week ultrasound (since couldn't get full anatomy done last time) and we discovered that this is definitely NOT a girl. Pretty clear that this time it is a boy. So now that I bought a few things and luckily I kept receipts, I am returning some of the stuff that was bought. So my advice is to wait until you have an Anatomy Ultrasound (20th week) done before you really start planning on buying boy or girl stuff.
