Team blue for our 2nd! I'm super outnumbered...even the dog is a boy! Was hoping for a little girl, but super thrilled that we have a healthy boy growing and all tests came normal! I have 4 nieces to get my girl fix in!
We did materni21on Sept 26th and got the results back yesterday.
In fairness, we're not 100% sure yet. I just had blood drawn for the Prenatalis test yesterday - same as Harmony but the test is run out of Germany since that's closer to me - but they carried out an ultra sound first before taking blood and the doctor thinks it's another girl. Am curious to see if this matches the test results when we get them back in 7-10 days; will let you know!
Update: We received the Prenatalis results and baby seems healthy. Also, dr was correct - it's a girl.
Im new to the group, but im due in April.. In December, we'll find out the gender of the baby.. So excited! After having a girl, we're hoping it's a healthy baby boy.
Wears waiting until birth and now I think I may faulted with that decision. But it's what daddy wants! I have a daughter and son and my SO has a son. We both want another boy!
How does everyone know already? Just from DNA tests? I think I have to wait until December for the ultrasound thing. I was never offered these DNA tests everyone here got.
@RoseShadow873 I asked my doc about some of these tests and he told me bc of my age (28) and the looks of my ultrasounds that they weren't necessary. I think these type of tests are done with advanced maternal age and personal or family history of chromosomal abnormalities. My doc also told me that at my next visit (16w) he will be doing some book work again to make sure baby is okay and my pregnancy is still low risk.
Im from the UK everything is so different I've just blood taken for chromosome and other things and I haven't been told the sex of my baby I have to wait until I'm 20+ weeks. I'm having a heart scan on baby next week so I'm wondering as its in 3D/4D they can have a quick scan over and see if I can see anything lol x

So the UK has that too? I saw someone mentioned Canada was like that and I was shocked. I understand in China I guess, but is aborting babies based on gender really a problem in countries like the UK and Canada?
We're having another boy. I'm super excited for a brother for H and another little guy, but definitely bummed it's not a girl. I wish I knew if I would have a daughter in my future because I just want one and I hate having to wait! Gender disappointment is real yo.
First BFP 12/2012, MMC at 9 weeks
Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)
Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks
Fourth BFP 8/2015, hoping for sticky little brother or sister to H!
Proud SAHM to our little monkey H.
Pro Vax, extended breasftfeeder, ring sling and stroller loving mama. I don't judge you unless you don't vaccinate!
You can request one to be done. It is after you're genetic appointment. It comes out of your pocket. I'm low risk and still got it because I was too impatient to wait

Don't feel bad. My doctor won't touch the sex before the 18/20 week scan.
Just got the results of our Panorama screening back and it's a baby GIRL! DH is pumped and I cannot wait to tell my 3 stepsons tonight!!! (Panorama also indicated low risk for trisomy disorders, and results took a week and a half.)
Did anyone try intelligender and have it be right ? Mine said boy last Saturday. I'll be 13 weeks next week at my second appt ... They're not doing a scan then because I swifched doctors and they wouldn't schedule a scan until they met me. Soooo excited to find out gender ... Husband is so eager for a boy, and though I would be happy with either I giess I'm hoping for a boy too since he wants a little buddy so bad ! ( I know ... A little girl would have him totally wrapped around her finger though.. He just doesn't know it yet
Our doctor's initial guess at the 11 week ultrasound was boy, but we just got our Progenity test results back, and little Margaret Theresa will be joining our family in April. I suspect my husband is more than a little disappointed, but all things considered he's rolling with it pretty well. He's already bought her first pair of ice skates. I suspect she'll be one heck of a daddy's girl
